Shelby Dennis is a horse trainer here on RUclips and recently released a short on how she makes her horses fly spray with just water, witch hazel, and essential oils! Hoping it’ll help with Ms.Buttercup’s fly issue. As other comments said, fly masks are an option too!

A tip from an Australian who is very used ti hot weather. Wear wide brimmed HATS when outside in the sun. It will reduce your body temperature and make being outside in the sun more comfortable.

Been through your adoptions, you trying to fall pregnancy, Cassie having a heart op, you living in a caravan for so long, and you all have come a long way through good and bad, and I kept up with you, praying for you when needed, hoping for the best for you all, and I thank you for posting your life videos! Hello from Greece! We use the egg shells either to feed soil with calcium (very localized treatment obviously coz eggs are only so many) or in the chicken feed to provide chickens with calcium. We put egg shells on foil paper, in the hot oven for five minutes or so. Once they cool down, the egg smell has gone so chickens do not recognize what they eat and we do not risk them attacking their freshly laid eggs. So, blend baked egg shells down to powder and use them either in soil, or for your chickens! Love u guys!

You can also dehydrate your green "tops" of things from the garden, broccoli, beets, carrots etc. Dry them completely, grind into a powder and add to scrambled eggs, sauces, smoothies for an extra boost of vitamins. Get some liquid calcium so the tomatoes that come on from the time you add it will not have end rot. It can also happen to peppers....blossom drop.

    Hi Alex,
I collect my eggshells in a container (I use a pretty ceramic utensil holder) when it's full I pop the eggshells on a tray and pop in the oven for 15 minutes(whilst it warms up is perfect as not wasting energy) then I let them cool and then grind them in my coffee/spice grinder(pro tip it helps make it super clean and removes the smell of previous grind) then sprinkle into garden bed to make the calcium more readily available. if in between times for prepping/using in Arden then it stores Mickey in as glass jar until I need it, this way you can build up a supply ready for prepping your beds before winter as well :0)
Hope this helps you or another reader, Best wishes, Mel

I had clay vegetable beds I used compost and constantly turning the soil and the best thing ever I found was pig and cow poo mix it really well and then turn the bed over again so the compost and the poo are mixed well then give it a good watering and just keep on repeating makes a huge difference. The quality of the produce is absolutely amazing. Good job guys xx

Jacquie, do you know would that help with Brown spot all over my tomato plant’s leaves?
Every tomato plant I have had this year is getting Brown spot, which spreads quickly on each plant and spreads from on e plant to a
Another, working its way through the entire garden?
I have a couple of the healthiest, big and bushy tomato plants in huge pots, away from everything else to try and protect them if I can! I planted them in compost that is supposed to have 12 months worth of feed, I have had crushed up egg shells in all of my beds for a good 6 months now and still, they get brown spot!!
I am so new to all gardening, I have never enjoyed it until I got obsessed with strawberries last year and decided I wanted to try and grow some of my own! Of course that started everything and so I have been trying to grow tomatoes since the end of last year. I live in a semi tropical part of Australia, where I can pretty much grow all year round!
When I see leaves with brown spot, I try to always remove them, which seems to stop it for a time, but it always comes back within a couple of weeks.
Any advice at all would be so incredibly appreciated. 🙏🏼💜😘

To add collagen to y'all's body, once you crack the eggs put them in a large freezer bag & put in freezer & once it's full take them out lay them on a cookie sheet broken side up & bake @ 250° for 1 hour & once it has cooled put in a bullet or something similar & ground to a powder. You can add that to any of your food for good health benefits.

Use the red mineral salt block. That will help with the flys on the cow. Put it in a tube. So if it gets wet and starts to break down. She can still lick it and it doesn’t break down into the ground. It really does help with flys.
