I have a Polaris ranger 1k I’m wanting to delete turf mode and im wanting a upgraded reverse chain and a gear reduction ... can you verify that I can use rzr parts and show me the what I need I to do to make sure I order the right parts ... thanks in advance

Nice video and good idea for reverse chain upgrade. I have a broken chain too- and I need to get my transmission out of the UTV But - first and can't find a video that helps with my model. Do you or any of your viewers know of a video or specific printed manual that will show how to remove a transmission in a 2016 RZR Trail 900 EPS 50" wide UTV? There are lots of videos for other years and models but this 900 has a diagonal frame bar beside the transmission that others don't have that restricts removal, and the Air box is very different than others that I have seen in videos. Anybody have experience with this model?
Do U know of a gear reduction chart? I have a XP 4 10000 (2014) I’d like to get a reduction but I really don’t want to loose any top end!! Suggestions??
Hows it going great work man I always like seeing good tranny upgrade videos . I have a question since your very good with trannys I have a 2014 Polaris ranger crew Diesel , and motor is good but for some reason once the transmission goes into any gear and drives a little bit I cannot get out of that gear unless I turn off the sxs ., then it shifts smooth into any gear but once i get it rolling into any gear Im stuck in that gear until i turn it off . I know this might be out of subject but Im out of ideas I changed the primary and still the same any hints or ideas thanks in advance .
Hey man, thank you I appreciate it. It kind of sounds like your belt is still engaged when at Idle. Theres a roller bearing in the primary that may be hung up. Can you take your clutch cover off and take a look?
bet that was a gilbert hd plate i had the same problem with mine not aligning it mad it a pain but for 40 bucks oh well i guess.... next trans vid can you show how to set the phase on the output shaft

The Manual Says to put the cases together in High, but its not really needed untill you go to set the Gear Selector. If you put the cases together in say R its not hard to find H and then set the Selector. Yup thats it, other then a Clutch Puller pretty much.
The issue I wonder with this upgrade is Yes, he will never break his reverse chain again. But he will need a complete replacement transmission when the shaft bearings wear causing the gears to crash due to the lack of clearance between the gears now.
tjt603 That it is, bought it from Biohazard. Later found out they didn't care to disclose that info. A bunch of people thought they made the chain the way they were talking about it.
I'm about to pull my transmission to replace the bearings It's a king like something is jumping in there I put it in neutral and it's fine I put it in gear and it start acting like it jumping a gear or something any ideas ?

I have a 2016 rzr xp 1000 and looking for the lowest gear possible could you tell me the factory part numbers that I need. Thank you
Have you found any replacement bearings (timken, sks) for the trans? I've read that the factory bearings are bad about flattening out over time.

How much would you charge to replace a reverse chain? Just a factory chain, no the sprocket and gears

I would while you are in there. A Gear Reduction is always worth it.

It stretch and started popping. It has been warranted and replaced. Going strong as of now.
