I just beat the game and I felt the same. I got teary-eyed when Tri said goodbye and left. Even the Tri-rod being put on display made me sad. Saying goodbye to someone or something you love is never easy.
Thanks Austin. As an older dude with young kids I don’t get to game much but always get mainline Zelda games and I know I can count on these videos to get me through my limited gaming time
Tip for beating Null easier/faster: if you bind to the hands and pull them, a blue glowy area will appear on them. Link will then drop everything and go attack that hand, instantly destroying it. Hope this helps someone :)
As always love the video and the commentary, but extra love for being so transparent with the process behind your merch and the breakdown of where the profits go. Your content is great, and your morals are even greater
I just finished the game a few hours ago. I was avoiding this video until I did it. Quite happy with how it turned out, even though I didn't quite expect the final battle to be like that. Sad about Tri, but I'm glad I got closure for Conde. Did not 100% it, likely never will, but I had so much fun.
Thanks for all your dedication and passion for making such quality content. I 100% the game yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. What an amazing introduction to Zelda-focused Zelda games. I know it’s unlikely but I hope for DLC of some kind or, if not, then maybe a sequel for the Switch 2
Imagine if they throw a curve ball at us and Zelda gets to be the player character for the next big 3D open world game while Link gets a 2D top-down game on Switch 2.
Yet again you’ve added more to a play thru than you can ever imagine. Well played Sir, Well played. Thank you from across the sea and down a little bit. Austin Austin Austin oi oi oi.
27:55 The final boss is intense, but you surely made it more intense and long than it should have been. Grabbing Null arms and pulling them makes the whole thing twice faster, because Link just oneshots the arms. I just placed mr. lynel and tried to grab the arms while link was doing his thing. While it was a bit long fight, it wasn't hard and wasn't that long
Bro seriously chilled under the surface that whole time and didn't learn a damn thing about what happens when the Triforce of Power goes up against Wisdom and Courage
Just finished the game while following along with the walkthrough. I really enjoyed this game. Thank you so much for the 100% walkthrough. Keep up the awesome work.
I’m here now in the game but I never finish the last video of Austin’s walkthroughs because it feels better to leave the possibility of being able to come back and hang out one last time on every game he does. Thanks for everything Austin!
I had so much fun playing this game. I love the art style, the music is amazing, and the story adds so much to the lore of Hyrule. I didn't 100% percent it as I found certain heart pieces tedious, but I really enjoyed it. Your walkthroughs were incredibly helpful. Thank you!
I genuinely loved this game. Something I found interesting is that whenever I found a new little area like a cave or puzzle, there was always a way to beat it even no matter what I had. I think that’s very cool and speaks to the freedom you can have in this game.
im pretty sure everyone at the end is surprised that link is talking at all. lueberry's diary says that link lost the ability to speak after getting sucked into a rift the first time
Just wanted to say thanks. The walk through has been very helpful to me. I would have been very stuck. I really enjoyed watching people solve the same puzzle differently as I try and do a section first, then come back and watch yours.
Thanks captain for making all of these great videos. You are my go-to man for anytime that I would get stumped. I am a huge Zelda games fan and I have enjoyed them very much. Each of them have their own attraction…It is sad to see them go.
I felt you could complete the boss battle by just letting Link do all of it while you dodge attacks. Not a super enjoyable final boss but I did really enjoy the game..thanks for all the help Austin John.
It seems weird to not be fighting Gannon as the final boss in a Zelda game, as the only time we really fight him in this game is at the beginning. But I guess there have been other Zelda games that did not have Gannon as the final boss. (ie, Links Awakening)
Can’t wait for the switch 2 Zelda game……your channel will be the first I look to for support been following since BOTW. Thank you for your hard work with these walk throughs!
Thanks for these guides. I watched all of them, sometimes after and sometimes during if i got stuck. I really loved the game and these videos are great.
This has been a fun walk-through to watch. 29:51 - 30:04 - Null: No! The Prime Energy! Give it me! I'm nothing without it! Zelda: If you're nothing without the Prime Energy, then you don't deserve it.
Thank you so much for recording this series for us! It has been a lot of fun to watch. I also see that Zelda is taking a page from the 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Kirby Star Allies games and having the final boss just be a negative concept that wants to kill you.
Played along with you for my second go thru and have had an absolute blast, thank you! Gaming can get a bit lonely as a middle aged female, but if kinda felt like we did it together
At 36:13 where you comment he couldn't speak. Tri said in a couple different places in the game they "think" they'll go back to normal once null is defeated. Link telling his story at the end, confirms what Tri thought would happen.
I had Zelda wear the black cat outfit, and I love that the cutscenes keep the outfit you equipped. Also that final boss is some Kirby 64 02 level sh*censored*t, holy crap
Thank you Austin, I enjoyed all your videos very much. I made sure I stayed ahead of you but by golly I was always retracing my steps during your videos, a quick pause, boot up the game, do the things, and press play. First thing I did after the 1st temple was head to Gerudo but I decided to find out how open world the game was and ended up at the volcano. The Fire Octorok was my guy for the entire game.... until lynel of course. Sort of felt like i cheated it was so OP for me buuut not really. I'd like a video of ideas for a second play through that you'd recommend or at least thought sounded cool. My plan is to complete the 2nd play through without accepting (or using) the top 10 echos for my 1st play through. They were: Fire Octo, Crow, Trampoline, Ignizol, Platboom, Spear Moblin Lvl 1, Crawltula, Octorok, Bombfish & Strandula. seems very doable. But 20 seems like a challenge when bed, table, chompfin also banned. Thanks again Austin
I feel like a lot of people make the mistake of thinking Bind is just like Ultrahand in that its just a puzzle tool. But Bind very much has offensive applications. You're already using lock-on to make your echoes focus on singular targets, so you should also use Bind to lock those singular targets in place or at least limit their ability to avoid your Echoes. The game wants you to use Bind in battle. That's why multiple bosses (if not all of them) have some kind of Bind application whether it be yanking off Volvagia's necklace to stun it, ripping that desert mole boss out of the ground, or pulling Null's arms to set up Link.
This is an amazing final boss battle. Superb. I would say that the totk ganon fight is still one of the best final boss fights and not just because its ganon.
With regards to your suggestions at the end, there is a "most used" option. Open your menu using right on the D-Pad and then press Y until that sort option comes up (I think it's the 3rd option).
Thanks for the shoutout Bro. I just love watching you play games King. I don’t plan on playing, might cop for the collection but never plan to play ever lol. Too busy with work and other gigs/projects. You making these videos is extremely helpful.
Thank you so much for all the love and hard work you put into this channel! I found you when I first played BotW in 2019, and remember following your Link's Awakening walkthrough to the letter. I wasn't much of gamer at that point (I grew up watching my brother and his friends game, but didn't do much myself), but I've gotten a lot better. I had fun watching these videos only after I had already cleared an area or got stuck this time around. Thanks again, see you next system! 🫡
Thank you so much for the Walkthrough! It was awesome to experience the Game even though i dont own it. Im looking forward for your Content on Pokémon TCG Pocket :) see you there.
The fight is fun but doubly so when you use bind. It’s not just a bullethell where you dodge, using bind to pull the arms both makes it faster and harder.
Not only are you supposed to bind the arm and pull it to expose the weak point so your echo and link can take it down faster, but make sure to take down the arms holding the tris first because that's how null summons the echoes
holy crap so I've only been LISTENING to this and thought that "prime energy" was like a joking stand-in for something else but NO it really is just called prime energy lmaoooooooooo
IMO this game is A Link to the Past meets Links Awakening with its own storyline. The graphics are Links Awakening and the map layout is A Link to the Past.
16:30 OOOHHH!!! So that's how you get Link up to the upper platform!!! Why am I feeling so dumb anyway!? Binding objects, using echoes, whatever man this game is fricking intense... I mean, I'm talking boss fights... Oh, and beware of spoilers in the comments section.
What was your goal? Was it to help people, by walking with them through the game (walkthrough), or was it to think you are a big shot by doing things that most people cannot do? You started out fine, then most of the game ended up on the cutting-room floor, while you used the Lynel and Gold Finch. Nintendo Wii started out with "Play" that most senior centers used, but now I am disappointed.
20:01 you can actually use bind on the hands and pull them out. Then link will run to them and destroy them in one hit
Came here to say this 😊
@@superman112587 same
I did the boss and didn't even know this. Just used a Lynel and span around a bunch. Was pretty boring, tbh.
I figured that out as well, making the team work between Zelda and Link even more fun
This comment cracks me up that’s the whole point of the fight how did he miss that
Thank you so much for this walkthrough Austin.
I followed your guides during the entire game and had a blast. 👍🏼 😃
I cried when Tri said goodbye. They didn’t have to hit me that hard 😅😭
Me too!! 😭 it hit me so hard
I just beat the game and I felt the same. I got teary-eyed when Tri said goodbye and left. Even the Tri-rod being put on display made me sad. Saying goodbye to someone or something you love is never easy.
I talked with Zelda’s cat, he was guarding her room for her
Thanks Austin.
I was about to come say this; granted I didn’t even figure that out until like the very last part of the battle 😂
As always love the video and the commentary, but extra love for being so transparent with the process behind your merch and the breakdown of where the profits go. Your content is great, and your morals are even greater

DLC is 99.9% not happening. But we may see another 2D game in a similar style (not exact) in the future.
Imagine if they throw a curve ball at us and Zelda gets to be the player character for the next big 3D open world game while Link gets a 2D top-down game on Switch 2.
Yet again you’ve added more to a play thru than you can ever imagine.

I don’t know how no one realizes this but if you hit + you can access a notebook with all the echoes better arranged and you can use them from their.
Bro seriously chilled under the surface that whole time and didn't learn a damn thing about what happens when the Triforce of Power goes up against Wisdom and Courage
To be fair, we don’t know how early this is in the Zelda timeline …
Just finished the game while following along with the walkthrough. I really enjoyed this game. Thank you so much for the 100% walkthrough. Keep up the awesome work.

I appreciate this walkthrough. It was a lot of fun.
On a separate note, it feels like Tri was another version of Fi, but less annoying.
That just leave foe and fum. 😂
I've been saying, "Tri, Fi, partner fun. I smell the blood of a Hylian" for a week. Thought it was just me. 😂
Tri stops you less that Fi does, but Tri is just as annoying.
I watch all your walkthroughs just cause of you, love your energy man!
9:45 Austin, you shot us! :o
Here for the rest of the people under the "don't play the game but enjoy the gameplay" 🤌
1:44 Yeah, I just like hearing Austin talk about what he loves to play & stuff
I genuinely loved this game. Something I found interesting is that whenever I found a new little area like a cave or puzzle, there was always a way to beat it even no matter what I had. I think that’s very cool and speaks to the freedom you can have in this game.
In the room where you bind link and had him move to the button, you can also spawn a platboom for link to use which I thought was adorable
16:57 The echo on your voice was a great touch. Chefs kiss😘👌
im pretty sure everyone at the end is surprised that link is talking at all. lueberry's diary says that link lost the ability to speak after getting sucked into a rift the first time
Even when he's not the protagonist, Link still doesn't talk lmfao
“Yes.”

Thanks man. I first found you when I was stuck playing Links Awaking and I’m still here. You’re hilarious and amazing.
Thanks captain for making all of these great videos. You are my go-to man for anytime that I would get stumped. I am a huge Zelda games fan and I have enjoyed them very much. Each of them have their own attraction…It is sad to see them go.
I like that even tho were playing as Zelda, they still found a way to keep the trope of fighting a possessed Zelda 😂

The final boss is a really cool new villain for the Zelda series!
Thanks for this walkthrough, it helped with finding some of the items I had missed. Plus your commentary is always so fun to listen to.
This is the best new zelda game since ”The Minish Cap”. Great work Nin 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much for recording this series for us! It has been a lot of fun to watch. I also see that Zelda is taking a page from the 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Kirby Star Allies games and having the final boss just be a negative concept that wants to kill you.

Thank you Austin for your walkthrough, and tips, and guides!! I very much appreciate it!
