Yay! thanks for the shout out! It made my day! I love the acrylic storage and the ornament box is definitely one I will incorporate! I'm thinking de-stash and restraint will be my only friend for my pattern stash! lol I can't wait to see your new makes! You are very inspiring! Take care :)
Happy Sunday! Great idea with the ornaments containers, will be grabbing some this holiday season! I just love your videos, you are sooo talented! I’m 75 years young, been sewing for a long time, stopped for a while, but back at it! You’re in my hometown, I left before you were born, but I still remember the landscape where you take photos! Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing what you do next!❤️❤️❤️
Hello, I make a tiny snippet near the end of the elastic (centered). Put one side of the bobby pin through it and hook at the curve of the pin (like securing a fish hook). It works really well on thin, slinky, and knit fabrics with narrow casings. The rounded ball ends really help. I've had the safety pin come open, pierce the fabric, and get caught. I'm sure I'll be using that technique in one of my future videos! Thanks for watching!
Oh no, really?! I've had mine for 12 years! I don't keep it full to the brim, and it sits on top of my heavy-duty tote. Maybe that's why it's lasted for so long.
I like your organization 😊
Thank you!
No judgment on the patterns i have over 200 thanks so much for sharing that book I definitely want to grab it
Aww, thanks! I might be close to that number! 😂 That book is definitely a good one! 👍🏼
Good👍

How do use a bobby pin to run elastic through casing? I enjoyed your video. I too have a small sewing area

Thats great. Did you come up with that technique?
No, I was shown that technique by my high-school sewing teacher, Mrs. Gedert years ago! She shared some wonderful tips with us students. 😀
The ornament containers after a couple years won’t snap closed well & everything falls on the floor 😫
