- I am back with a day in the life style video. This one was a representation of a super productive day for me. I can confirm that not all of my days are like this. Hopefully it is insightful in showing you what the typical tasks as an in-house paralegal can be as well as how I juggle everything.

Thank you so much for your video Charlotte,! I somehow stumbled across your channel and I am so grateful. I am working full time in house and studying the online LPC/LMSc so I can completely relate to when you said you were behind with your work. It took me a good few months to find a routine which works for me, but im glad that I finally have. I also find it useful to not compare myself to other people, even if they are in a similar position to me with work and studying. Everyone's lifestyles are compeltely different, what matters is having a mindset set on the end goal of completing the course! All the best with it all hun xx

I’m finding the part time commitment quite intense also! (But I’m at BPP) - I feel like the Prep material takes far longer that “3 hrs” especially if we incorporate the information into notes to use for our exams!
I couldn’t agree more, the prep work realistically takes a lot longer than they say it should. I hope you’re managing it all okay!

If you are paralegal from the UK, then would you recommend a- level 3 certificate paralegal program from National Paralegal College?
How was your experience doing the lpc online with ulaw. I'm about to start but I'm a bit concerned we won't have that level of support given that there are no workshops... I know though they stress that its a practical course. How do you get through the engage tasks with no workshop discussion?
Hi Maria, so sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this - I took a break from posting. I am in my second year of online lpc. It definitely doesn’t have much support but tutors are always available to help if you want to reach out to them (or at least that’s what I have found). How have you been finding it so far?

I'm so sorry you are struggling to find a role at the moment. I know is it tireless but you will secure something in the end. I work in-house at a biostatistics company. I wish you all the luck in finding a role!

I use Notability - I think it is around £7 for the year and I really enjoy using it
Do you come across many male paralegals? I can't afford law school, not able to get students loans. Do you think gender will play a role when looking for jobs?
In all honesty, I haven’t come across many male paralegals but there are definitely more than there used to be. I don’t see why a female should get a paralegal role over a male just because of their gender - I think the most capable person is likely to get the role. I hope you manage to find something 👍

it’s 2023 and gender can do any job :) and at the firm i work at there’s a male paralegal! and many male legal assistants lol
