If someone was being derogatory towards people in the LGBTQ+ community because someone posted Pride literature, it would not have been posted. If it was any type of "-phobic", it would not have been posted. I am - again - not personally offended by the content, but do think that if you are willing to let someone openly mock a religion or group of people and choose to highlight and give that a platform yourselves, that you cannot pick one section or group of people to belittle and show us that it is okay to make jokes towards them, but unacceptable for the rest. You have defended things like the Pride events and the personal lives of creators in the past because of the way the community has reacted towards them, so you have taken stances on similar topics before. This clip was clearly an attempt to call back upon being an edgy 14-year-old online and spout hate at a religion on Rig's part; it was as insidious towards the religion and it's beliefs it was mocking as possible. If the same stance, language, and attitude was taken towards any other group of people in the community, would it have been posted? Outside of being inflammatory for clicks and comments like this one to push this video up in the algorithm the day after Christmas (great job, you did it!), I'd love to hear why we felt that clip needed to be featured. EDIT: To anyone reading this after the fact, the clip was removed from the end of the video. It featured a creator responding to religious Christian texts in his chat by saying that he worships Satan and that Jesus performs same-sex acts on him to belittle the commenter and religion, and the intro to the clip was "This clip is about Christmas so we felt it was appropriate to include it!" or something along those lines.
