Thanks for the compliment. the whitish thin is called stiffner and as the name suggests, it stiffens the material to be able to mould and take the shape you mould it on. Usually for ankara I mould with pad/warden and then put ankara on top. I have not stiffened just the material alone. It won’t be strong enough and won’t last
