I am 66 yrs old in less than a month and have been suffering with many issues since perimenopause. I have resistant hypertension, had PSVT and had ablation therapy and had chronic UTI’s during perimenopause. It was a crazy time. I am still dealing with neurological decline, anxiety and sleep issues. I removed caffeine recently and drink decaf coffee and teas but still have very disrupted sleep. Cognitive decline has been evident since perimenopause as well as ADD symptoms. Is it too late to spend oodles of dollars to see a natural hormone replacement therapist? It’s very expensive in Canada to have anything holistic done. I did try progesterone cream years ago to find myself walking into walls etc. it was a horrible experience. Thanks for this great video. 🙏🏻 PS Dr. Sara I did your Hormone Reset program and had good results.
I agree with you. In Canada it's too expensive to get the correct treatment. Especially if you're not earning a huge income. There are so many people with Alzheimers and Dementia. The pathetic health system is to blame. Women's health is not important anymore. When you get depressed you will be given anti depressants, when you battle to sleep - zoppiclone if nothing else works. The list goes on. Functional doctors are not covered by NHS. Supplements are filled with chemicals, all sorts of sugars and fillers that damage your liver, etc. And it is expensive. Have you listened to Dr Martin's podcasts? He is Canadian. Also Dr Patricia Mills. She also have numerous RUclips videos. Very informative. There's an Australian woman, Barbara O'Neil. Her RUclips videos might also be very enlightening. I've tried to book an appointment with a Menopause Dr in Edmonton. She is fully booked until July 2026. I did Bio identical hormone therapy. It was very expensive, the medication was totally wrong, even though bloodwork was done. After 3 weeks of hardly any sleep and anxiety that hit the roof, I decided to stop the treatment. I phoned the doctor and she recommended I reduce the dosage by half. She told me it would take 3 months to see a difference. Well, $700 down the drain for me. I am extremely frustrated with this situation. I could never understand why older ladies become so miserable, moody, fat, etc. Unfortunately, we have to deal with it the best way we can without proper medical assistance. The people posting RUclips videos make money from people who are in desperate need of help, assistance, and guidance who watch these videos. They don't really give you adequate information to help yourself.
