It's just turned 10am here and it's almost as foggy as Silent Hill outside. All I'm doing today is expecting parcels, so time to take a nap on the sofa with this playing in the background 💤
This is it 🙀🤯😵 It's what I've been looking for this entire time - I don't know how you did it, but you've translated it perfectly - the feelings to the vibes and the auditory scene its setting and portraying (!!!) 😂😭😌 - I dont know what to say (!!!) 😭😂😔 ... I am grateful for you and your existence - thank you for facing whatever is **"Out There"** together with me!!! 😍🥰🫠
I live next to where the Columbia and Cowlitz river meet. At night the fog rises off of them into the sky, and seeps through the streets of this town. Thanks for setting the mood SS. Still looking forward to a shirt if it ever becomes a thing!
It's like the first step inside an unknown, mysterious place where a lot of stuff is about to happen to us. It's gloomy yet heavenly at the same time. Strange combination, but it took over me right when I started playing it. Well done... ❤️👌🏻💯
At least ketchup and mustard in sufficient quantities. Provided it doesn't lose its nutritious nature in the fog world (see Stephen King‘s Langoliers).
Well and truly gorgeous and tranquil. The scene's soothing too in a weird way, because it makes me think of a couple of people being stranded in Silent Hill, but for once, there's no imminent danger of any kind. They're just taking shelter from a small snow storm. Cwtched up all cosy and drinking some hot chocolate or decaff coffee together sharing nice stories 🙂😊
@@SurvivalSpheres I'll have to take your word for it buddy, I'm not a huge Silent Hill fan. Love the atmosphere, music, backstory (overview) and creatures, but know very little about the main characters and its story. I'm guessing it's when those two characters are chilling before everything goes tits up 🙃😅
@@Johny40Se7enI firmly believe that you can connect to the SH vibe without playing or being overly familiar with all details. This also adds more obscurity to the entire thing, like you’ve got a vague ‚idea‘. The only aspect that you are really missing out is the feeling of familiar places. Btw, the scene I described happened about early mid game. A moment of calm, so to speak.
@@SurvivalSpheres I agree. It's lovely when people can do that. Relate to elements in a game, film, series. It pops out to me how Silent Hill is very similar to other horror games in that it's very symbolic, and symbolic things don't have to show you everything for it to be meaningful. Sort of like you said, ambiguity and lack of information about it sort of makes it special in its own way 🙂 And that scene in the diner sounds like one of those moments of levity, similar to when Leon bumps into Claire in the Police Station in Resident Evil 2 original. Or when Chris comes across Rebecca in the first one. You got a familiar friendly face with that cosy music enveloping you. It's like your music, there's a magic to that which is hard to put into words 😊🥰
@@Johny40Se7enYou nailed it, it’s exactly one of those moments. The songs that is playing during that scene, and ONLY during that scene, is „Alone in the town“. Maybe you’ve heard it before.
It must have been a nice cafe once upon a lifetime, with the snow falling outside in the season it was meant to. Gosh I love Silent Hill and this piece fits perfectly ❤❤
I’ve always dreamed of a game set in „pre nightmare“ Silent Hill 1. Where you could walk around and explore, talk to people and stuff. Bright sunny day, yet something off somehow.

@survivalspheres Well You Might Think I Am Insane, But I Even Got To The Point Of Having A Multi Layer Dreams Of Them, Dreaming Of Travelling Together And Be With Them In A Place I Knew They Got To Without Me In Real Life And Being Happy About It And Then Waking Up With Them Again Thinking This Is Reality And Then Waking Up For The Second Time In The Real World In My Room Alone ... Much Like An Inception Thing In A World With Silent Hill Like Ambience. But Don't Worry It's Ok It Only Happens Sometimes And I Like It This Way. Maybe You Could Use This To Let Your Artistic Instinct Run And Make Some Work For A Silent Hill Inspired Music As It Is My Favourite Game And World 😅 If You Do Please Mention Me About It 🙏
@@aliikman8199 This might actually happen. And believe me, I don't find you insane - I know stuff like that myself. There was a certain time in my life, while I was at the army. It was a very intense impression, where you suddenly were deeply connected to people around you, on a much different level than usual. But it was not for long, and when it ended, everyone quickly separated and went their own ways, never seeing each other again. Most of them were people that I probably wouldn't have talked to outside of that occasion, but yet, for some strange reason, I keep dreaming about the time there, and about the people I've met. Again and again, although those memories have absolutely no impact on my life today anymore. Why is it, what is going on? In dreams I find those guys again and talk to them, we joke and share stories about how life has treated us since. It's very, very weird. I call it an obsession without reason.
The place were all started. It still gives me headache. Did you know you could return there later on? I can also see the glowing cult save symbol (which happens to be your icon) in it, although that’s actually not possible. What’s going on…?

I couldn’t think of a better plan. Must try exactly that myself.
Silent hill lives on through its fans.
We constantly rebuild it.
Thats right. The SH community hss transcended the games. It now lives in all of us diehards. A world in our collective minds.
Sounds like a deep moment of some kind in a sci fi game/movie.

The closest we ever got to that sweet picture was Eddie munching on his pizza while talking to James. Yeah I know, not quite the same though.
