It's also heavily implied that Dark Oak (formerly known as Lucas) is actually Cosmo's father due to his relationship with her mother.

An alien invasion dealing with a zombie apocalypse can be a pretty cool idea. Some of the invading alien soldiers would be infected and turned into zombies, attacking their fellow extraterrestrial soldiers.
Soo it's a game were a virus Infect rats and turn them into Swarm of the devowers and there be thousands of them, No MILLIONS OF THEM and can also Devour a Single human under a second. This is a fitting end for the Year of Shadow and honestly the Black Arms are so Parasitic and over the top Dangerous that they can Rival and Surpass the Umbrella Monstrosities from Resident Evil, thank goodness Shadow put his Half Species into Extinction and in all seriousness the Black Arms as a Whole might be related to the Ancients and is possible that even if you destroy everything of the Black Arms, as long as Shadow is Alive the Black Arms and Black Doom himself will remain Alive.

No, no, no, no, no. That's *not* how it happened. The United Federation and GUN wanted bioweapons. And the former GUN Commander (not the one we see in _Shadow the Hedgehog_ who is named Abraham Tower) went to great lengths to cover up the raid on the ARK, even running a cover story about a terrible accident happening there. But all of this can be found in Gerald's Journal, both in _Shadow Generations_ as well as an actual pamphlet that comes with the Day One Edition of the game.
IDW Metal Virus spoilers ahead While the Metal Virus does seem hopeless it does actually has a single known weakness, fire and/or extremely hot temperatures. One example is in the ending of the story where Super Sonic and Super Silver send the disease to the sun and it disintegrates almost instantly. Now I don’t have a source and can’t remember where I found this so take it with a grain of salt but another example is apparently Blaze the cat was originally going to be a part of the story and her fire powers would’ve been able to kill the Zombots. Now of course this wouldn’t be easy but if humanity were able to identify its weakness quickly we could have a chance to fight back and eradicate the virus.

Awesome video, but Black Doom just wanted the chaos emeralds he never told Gerald anything else as he'd resist. He took advantage of his desperation to save his grandaughter and tried to play it a bit more on the DL, but you got mostly everything right you did right by one of my favorite characters and his villain, it's just a shame the Black Arms are so underutilized due to how lethal they are. I had a blast stay wow.

IDW Metal Virus spoilers ahead
While the Metal Virus does seem hopeless it does actually has a single known weakness, fire and/or extremely hot temperatures. One example is in the ending of the story where Super Sonic and Super Silver send the disease to the sun and it disintegrates almost instantly. Now I don’t have a source and can’t remember where I found this so take it with a grain of salt but another example is apparently Blaze the cat was originally going to be a part of the story and her fire powers would’ve been able to kill the Zombots.
Now of course this wouldn’t be easy but if humanity were able to identify its weakness quickly we could have a chance to fight back and eradicate the virus.

Awesome video, but Black Doom just wanted the chaos emeralds he never told Gerald anything else as he'd resist. He took advantage of his desperation to save his grandaughter and tried to play it a bit more on the DL, but you got mostly everything right you did right by one of my favorite characters and his villain, it's just a shame the Black Arms are so underutilized due to how lethal they are. I had a blast stay wow.

Watching the video now and love it already. I have to mention there IS an actual ZOMBIE virus in the sonic universe. The metal virus in the current comics would make for an amazing "Why you wouldn't survive".
