East Broad top Railway

today we will be at the East broad top railway a National historic land mark witch is the only Original 3ft narrow gauge railway East of the Mississippi of the USA, the Railroad first open in 1871, and closed in 1956, then reopen for Tourist operations from in 1960 by Nick Kovalchick, president of Kovalchick Salvage, and the operating lease ran out in 2011 with the East Broad Top Railroad Preservation. and the new owner EBT foundation bought the railroad in 2020 with the first train under the new owner in 2021 with M7. and steam returning in 2023 with locomotive 16. sadly 16 did not pull trains for the narrow gauge convention since the crew was having issues with a Hot barring on driver number 4.
