Finally someone shows the feet . He's going hundred miles an hour plus overwater I wouldn't go through at 20 mph . These boats are extremely hard to drive . Not everybody can do it .
We need a new high def version of this bad... Few and far between are the next gen stepping up to show the have balls let alone made of tungsten carbide... Awesome video but man we need to get him in front of another blown Hemi with 5 go pro's attached.. Legend right here.
Wait a second. If it's a V drive, why is the blower belt on the front? Is the prop shaft driven of the front crank pulley? I know that usually with V drives the engine is "backwards" so the prop shaft can be driven from the flywheel.
Damn he's Haulin' Ass! Looks like a Casale single speed gearbox. With that being an Alcohol fueled engine...I'd think they'd require a Nomex suit or similar for the fire danger.? In the late 80's while living in Southern Cali, I owned a V-Drive boat for a short period of time. It was an old Plywood hull that had been modified from a larger boat. Power was a 383 Chrysler that was decked out with Nicson Marine pieces, a Huge Carter Thermoquad with barrels the size of soup cans, an Ancient Dual Point distributor that was a real bitch to get right and a Casale 3-speed (F-N-R) V-Drive box. My Cav plate was fixed in position but, sure could have used the adjustability. Gearbox was locked in forward and there was no neutral...made it interesting for that first cold start and docking the thing sometimes. It would move out pretty good but, had a Horrible bounce at high speed. Tried adjusting the Cav plate but had limited success. It looked to have some irregularities in the bottom possibly causing the inability to tame the bouncing. It was a lot of fun. That Chrysler had a peculiar beat to it and the Carb scoop directed a lot or "Roar" right to the ears as close as it was. Traded it off and bought the first new boat I ever had...a 19ft. Bayliner open bow. Definitely more civilized but, lacked that Raw "In your face" horsepower. It did handle rough water better and could be trimmed for any condition. Still...that Big Ole V-8 had the guts and the sound.......!
Get Tony to show use how to get a holeshot and fly it through the lights and break the light behind the fun, to get a better time and faster speed, the man has a blower between his ears, give em hell Tony
Possibly the BEST 7 minutes in boating history!!!
CRAZY!!!! It looks like fast forward except the blown motor is screaming regular! JUST WOW!!!! WHAT A RIDE THAT MUST BE!!!!

Some amazing down-pedal work right there.

Thats just insane lol.....much respect man, I don't think I would be ballzy enough to pass 1/8th throttle on that thing.
Now I'm guessing the left pedal is for the cav plate, to adjust the plane of the boat?
Exactly. This is a true drag boat racer right here!
No it's the European Brake...just kidding.
Great vidio!!! Tony is one boat driving SOB!!!!! :)
@fyttirackarn The left pedal controls the rear plates. Pushing down on the plates brings the nose down
that was the best flattbottom video ive seen, like the foot pedal cam, what happened at the end did u kill it?

It's called an Opposite rotating engine. Good eye. Trust me.
Great video. Did the duck (2:14) make it? Maybe that's why the engine died?
Highest GPS speed was 128mph... Not bad just playing around...
So why does that kind of boats have what looks to be a clutch? Also seen some videos when the driver shifts gears like on a car.
alot of the same video ,BUT dam good!! question , why didnt you just make it a even 10 minutes long?
This Guy could drive . Nothing like a Beismeyer Flat Bottom Blown Alcohol Flat getting a Gr8 Work Out 😅. Just ❤ it . Robert 🇦🇺 Australia 🇦🇺
