They already won three without him, so yes they would have. He was a great player and a valuable piece, but that's it. As long as Jordan and Pippen were together they were winning titles, the rest of the team was interchangeable. Literally the entire roster was different from the first three titles to the second three titles other than Jordan and Pippen. And nobody from either of those rosters did anything of any significance when they weren't playing alongside Jordan and Pippen.
I still have this man’s jersey! I was in love with Toni as a kid 😂! Seeing this footage brings back so many great memories for me as kid. The bulls were literally all that back in the 90s. I miss this era
That last shot Pippen refused to enter the game 'cause Jackson drew up the play for Kukoc, and Pippen felt like deserved to take the last shot, and chose to pout and quit on his team. The fact that Kukoc made it makes it that much better.
What's crazy is this wasn't his first buzzer beater. There's like...3 or 4 just in this video alone. Heck, I think Pippen even fed him once. Pippen just couldn't see the forest, always focused on the tree.
Couldve played 1,2 ,3, but they needed a 4 so he blended. No doubt about his bball iq or his clutchness. He put team above individual accolades which made the dynamic duo even better .
Don't forget Ron Harper. Dude was an allstar before joining Chicago. What was important they were built ahead its days. Lots of good overall defenders who could switch positions. Only few players were below 6-6. Their only Achilles heel was center position, as they did not have a really good piece there.
In the '90s east though, Longley was one of the few centers who could physically stand with Zo, Shaq, and Ewing. Averaged over 10 pts a game during the 2nd 3peat, and was a terrific post passer.
@@kevinhegwood615 10 points on below 50% efficiency. He also averaged only about 5 rebounds. So underrated. This guy is 6ft 10 inches and could do it all including shooting around 50% from 3. The Bulls didn't just take him because of all of that though ofcourse it was the main reason but he won 5 titles in European league. 2 in the Australian league. He knew how to handle pressure
That New York shot was controversial it shows that not just Jerry but Phil Jackson himself knows Kukoc have the capability. He's like "I'm the coach here Scottie"😑

Just imagine how frustrating it had to be for opposing teams. You've fought hard all game, you have the lead with seconds - or even just one second - left on the clock. You know Michael Jordan can hit a shot at the buzzer. If you just keep him from touching the ball you might win. Except, no. Toni Kukoc also hits those shots. That was the great thing about watching the Bulls in the mid 90s. Even in those rare instances when they lost a game, you always had the sense they might pull it out at the end.
Dirk's shot before Dirk at 1:05. Note how Phil was upset at 2:37 even when they just won the game. It was because of Pippen wanting to sit on the bench. They forgot to include the NBA finals championship clinching dunk! I was expecting it :)
All of Chicago is proud of you Toni. Congratulations on the HOF and thank you for 3 rings.
Kukoc is one of the greatest ever to touch the basket ball
Congratulations on your HOF induction, Toni. All so proud of you!
Without Toni Kukoc Chicago wouldn't win 3 rings. One of the best European players ever!!!

@Rowgue51 The key player for the first 3 championships was Dennis Rodman. Chicago needed a tough player to win. Phil Jackson said that.
@@barcaparasiempre75
Dennis Rodman was still on the Pistons when the Bulls won their first three titles. He was on the team that won the second three.
Wow, didn't know Toni Kukoc is such a finisher 😳 for a more physical era he made a lot of game winning shots 😲
Jordan was the face of the NBA so Toni was downplayed... Kukoc was a beast.

They put Kerr on the cover of the Last Dance, my God, this dude was up there with MJ
Because Kerr is American.
Not quite, but pretty damn good!

Pippen is a better PLAYER, Toni is a better SHOOTER.

Kukoc would be superstar in today's NBA.
100%
He would average 35
Definitely!
Kukoc looking like Magic on these passes
Dirty passes. Only IQ, not much tecnique.
My first number, starting playing basketball, was #7 for Toni in Benetton Treviso and Croatia team
He was a fabulous player 🏀🧡
the right way of making clips, straight to the point
Oh boy! that passing skills was incredible ! now I’m convinced he was Luka Doncic during that era
To me more like a prime, also lefthanded, Lamar Odom looking at size. A legit 6-10, very creative and quick, Luka is only 6-7.

What a legend this man!
He was the reason I started watching and playing bball. The best European player ever. Was way ahead of his time. Perfect player for the modern game.
An artist and a fighter of the highest level.
so proud of you TK7
The Hall of Famer! The Waiter! Thank you for being so creative at 6-10 and clutch!
When Horace received that sweet dime, he stated in the press conference that that pass “was beautiful like the Mona Lisa!”… I’ll never forget that.
Thank you for everything, Kukoc!
Inolvidable jugador.
Felicidades por ser inducido al HOF
Those buzzer beaters are INSANE!
That #1 highlight was a bittersweet one, and we still lost that damn series.
Congrats to The Waiter on his well deserved HOF induction.
1990's basketball, especially the two Bulls three-peat, is so much better than 3 point no defense shoot around nowadays.
Absolute legend! I see a lot of similarities between his game and another HOF, Manu Ginobili.
Toni was one of the best ever. Top 5 best European players ever.
Sabonis, Nowitzky, Petrovic, Gasol and Kukoc
In the NBA. Overall, we have also Nikos Galis.
@@tudorm6838true, Galis was a beast.... but i give Petrovic slight advantage
Was so gooood. I saw him playing when he was 17 in Italy during a under 18 world championship
Fantastic selection man ;)
He’s probably one of the first great international players, never gets enough credit.
One of the best players to ever play the game.

Like a taller luka doncic. Worse scorer but better passer.
Hmm, maybe but that means way lesser championships on a team that doesn't have #23 and #33 and Worm on their roster.
Absolutely...
Yes, but likely not 3 chips!
And better stats definitely
Bulls had 5 hall of famers on the court: MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc and someday Kerr as a coach (still the NBA's all time career 3 point % leader).
my fave euro player ever
Toni Kukoc.
