    As both a mtg and yugioh vet, I love that you explained the value in keeping solid flexible cards in the main deck and they will put in some serious work. I currently play Edison format and the amount of depth that this format has is pretty incredible and I saw that a bit in your video too. Just subbed, keep up the good work 👌

    Really creative and well thought out approach to Diva Hero. I am definitely gonna give this build a try in the near future! Cyber Valley is such a cool card.

    Love how this idea has been executed here. It may be a little crazy, but with the addition of one for one, cyber valley, and battle fader, I’m testing including a fishborg blaster in the list as well. I think there is a lot of potential to steal games via armory arm otk.
    Another (more versatile card) that I’m considering playing is enemy controller. Treeborn with econ and cyber valley is quite nice. Worst case it can be effective against monsters like shura or kycoo. Sometimes just protecting a stardust from a JD or DAD attack with it could be game winning. Not to mention the ability to set it and dodge an opponent’s caius effect on your monster while also likely reducing the damage taken on that turn. Very versatile card that I think is a little underexplored in the format.
    Keep up the great content sir!

    i really like the idea of valley in diva hero, with every list i had it felt like going first was lacking good normal summons. having caius valley to convert prodigy mali without diva also feels really nice

    Great profile as always! I wonder what the meta will look like with a bunch of Cyber Valleys trying to crash into each other

  • @florianbehrend4925

    i like the inclusion of 141 and ddr as it is a more proactive approach to discard malicious. often we just raigeki break a random card to set mali up, and it needs to be set first.
    For this built i'd probably remove 1 valley to add sangan, as he searches a missing hero or diva very often, and can farm rykos early game.
    frog i am on the fence about as well, i probably like snowman better to counter agressive blackwings as you also only play 2 monarchs.
    in diva hero i always play 3 upstarts just to see the MVP cards!

      I haven’t seen may oppressions being mained at all recently, online or in person. It's just not very good vs vayu or bw so it's not a good card to main in either of those decks currently.

      I’d rather we hard solve Edison format, first. Well I’ve been teching not cards, but techniques for Edison. For example, rather than side decking for the opponents deck, you side deck for positional play/going first or second.

    • @FrozenCardGaming
      @FrozenCardGaming  2 месяца назад +1

      Unfortunately, yes. With Malicious being at 2 and not wanting to more copies of Stratos, due to redundancy, in the form of E - Emergency Call. I wouldn't play DDraw.

    people played diva hero back in the day. There were crazy ls zombie hero decks with frogs and stuff

    • @FrozenCardGaming
      @FrozenCardGaming  4 месяца назад +2

      There were experimentations with combo decks back in the day, but not nearly to the same extent as we've seen in the TCG since 2016-2017. Even a few years prior combo decks gained more interest and was improved upon.
      There were no succesful combo decks at SJC Edison, most decks throughout this part of competitive yugioh were archetypical or "good stuff" decks

    Interesting take on the deck for sure. You skipped over it in the video but I noticed you're not playing Solemn. I also came to the conclusion that Solemn isn't great in Diva Hero and the metagame in general.

    • @FrozenCardGaming
      @FrozenCardGaming  4 месяца назад

      Solemn judgment has the issue of being severly bad into established fields, bottomless at least doesn't cost life to remove a summon. There also isn’t much to protect with the Solemn that you aren’t able to just naturally play around, in something like Hero Beat where your only defense is your backrow and you lack the ability to do large pushes Solemn is better. Edison is also a slower format than formats prior and after, which leads to you losing more games based solely on life points as opposed to purely on advantage.

    • @ma.2099
      @ma.2099 4 месяца назад

      @@FrozenCardGamingat minimum solemn should be in the side over a pulling the rug. It’s strictly better than rug in every way.

    • @FrozenCardGaming
      @FrozenCardGaming  4 месяца назад +2

      @@ma.2099 I think they are quite different and cannot be compared 1-1. I wouldn't solemn a stratos or swap frog, so while the card is "better" is serves a different purpose as it has an additional cost to it which I believe is too great in this format to stop the weaker plays. Solemn does stop their big plays, such as miracle fusion, dark armed, or any other bomb they may present. But my own absolute zero or any other push I can present can deal with most established boards anyway, so the solemn often ends up being a more costly pulling as I would want it to be used earlier as opposed to later in the game.

    Why E Hero Ocean over the second Infernal Prodigy??

    • @alexff7
      @alexff7 4 месяца назад +2

      Nice to be able to search a water if you really need it for miracle. Gives a 2nd target for ECall. Basically this lets you play 3 copies of stratos, and with stratos you can get the ocean or the prodigy, depending on what your hand needs. Mid game drawing into prodigy when you already have one is usually useless.
