How the remaining current in circuit will be discharged by grounding the positive pole of rtc battery? (I mean there is a diode in between)

Very very good question.
Actually we just want to reset the BIOS by connecting the vcc line to the ground. By using this way we can actually reset the rtc section of the pch and if it doesn't work then we force fully enter the rtc the rtc cell on the stage 3 of the motherboard. Recommended by Intel. Actually if you connect the vcc line to ground then the parasitic capacitor will be discharged and that way we perform the reset.

I think AMD Motherboards has no SRTCRST# because there is no ME / CSME Concept, in Intel Chipset RTCRST# is used for reset RTC Section, and SRTCRST# is used for reset the PCH ME / CSME section.
Dada please confirm me, your opinion is highly solicited. Thankyou for one more informative topic. Also request for rest of RTC Section which consists with some latest Generation motherboard where CMOS cell is not present, I seen someone is also requested for this one. Hi Bro,very good explain.... I Have a laptop (board no. CDL50 LA-D707P Rev: 1.0). This board working fine after clear the CMOS. but I change cmos values ( date ,time or any setting) and save and restart, only first time display come. but shutting down , and press the power button not power ON. what is that fault ....pls help me...

mere pass asus b150m-k motherboard ha. iska problem hai power button press karne par on hotehi off ho jata ha leykin powersupply se green wire short karne se board on ho jata h or display bhi a jata hai..iska problem kiya ho sakta hai?

सर, Zotac का एक desktop बोर्ड G41 है, जो की फ्रंट पैनल स्विच से on नही हो रहा है, जबकि पिन पर 5 वोल्ट आ रहा है. यदि मै इसको 24 पिन सॉकेट के ग्रीन और ब्लैक को शोर्ट करूँ, तो on हो रहा है और डिस्प्ले भी आ रहा है . मै किस section को चेक करूँ ?

dekho actually yah sio ka fault ho sakta hai to pahle to sio ka triggering check karo aur uske साथ-साथ aap board ka crystal bhi replace karke dekh lo.
