We can dismiss this as a simple card trick, but it isn't...it's a fantastic lesson on presentation and rapport with the spectator. As always you rock it Mike! 👏
I would love to see how you did that, I've done the version from royal road to card magic many times and it gets good reactions typically but your handling is vastly superior. Is this variation your take on it or is there some reading material somewhere that teaches this version?
Neat way of doing things, I might have to try that out. I do mine with a little help from tamariz with the spectators deck to feel as fair as possible and avoid the traditional method. Are you going to Blackpool this year? I've got magician friends who tell me it's great but never been yet
Aditya Gupta my thoughts exactly. I watched the video, had it worked out and then the riffle shuffle debunked my theory! A simple method until the deck is freely shuffled and then riffle shuffled.
Imagine sitting in a cafe and you take a sip of your coffee you look up and the best magician in the world is sitting opposite you. Dreamland.

the presentation is always the more important part! The tempo, the misdirection, the off beat.
Que maravilla. Que manera de convertir algo sencillo en una obra de arte magico
Michael’s presentation is second to none.
I don't know which is better. The trick or your performance. You're a true master of your art sir.
What a lovely presentation.
He's full of class
Even the simplest trick can be made amazing with the acting part.
Muito bom, Michael. A mágica está em fazer as pessoas sorrirem!
Loved the great reaction of your friend! Pure magic...

Beautiful take on a classic trick! Love the patter

It really goes to show how much more there is in magic than just the mechanics

@Stephen Ward No, that's not it at all, I actually saw it this time. Shows how much a year's worth of experience can do
@@khabaled Can you give me a hint? Watched this about 10 times now, no luck. My lord what a great trick!
@@Digitalgems9000 before giving the deck, he peeped the top card of the deck. Hope this is not too obvious 😁
Haha
