I ride a pretty old school horse, he gets sore across his loin and croup. I was shown by my instructor how to stretch him before every ride, and I also give him a nice wash and bit of a back massage after every ride I have on him. (It's Queensland Australia, so unless it's the middle of a cold day in winter the horses always need at least a rinse where there tack was). Would liniment help to relieve some of this soreness?
