Thank you! When I grew up i lived in a rich suburban town in Orange County, and I lived in a one bedroom apartment on the couch. I could never have friends over because I was so embarrassed. As i got older I realized all my friends had things they were embarrassed about and it wasn't just me. I realized it was okay to not be perfect and I just want to share that with you guys
me too eva! i live in a tiny apartment, above somebody, and i am way too scared to have my friends over. me and my sister share a tiny room and my brother has his own room the size of a closet. and my parents sleep on the couch. its kinda sad but im thankful i do have family and the phone im typing this on. bless your heart eva. happy holidays

.I need to share my room with my bro cuz not enough space..I can't afford expensive things like a canon camera(I would love that) and a expensive Apple branded iPhone or iPad.and I've never ever ever been on an airplane cuz my family can't afford it..when I said that to ma bff she reacted like (WTF!?) It hurts ma feeling...but I'm thankful cuz I have my loving family..💓💓
The ending of this video made me so happy. Was having a really bad day, on top of the fact that my family necessarily couldn't afford much for the holidays which is kind of hard not to think about when you go on RUclips and all these youtubers are flaunting their gifts, claiming to be "appreciative" and "blessed" when in reality it's not genuine considering the fact they never have known what it feels like to have nothing. They have always expected the gifts they receive. Hearing your speech made me realize the real reason for the season and that it's not all about gifts. It's about happiness and spending time with who you love. thank you for always putting a smile my face Eva! :-)

This year was the WORST year of my life and by far the hardest. I can't even list everything. The main think is that my parents divorced. Yes, it's common but the feeling I had was devistating. I literally felt like my heart split in half an that I would never stop crying. It affected everything. I mean, my mom has to run the house and two kids by herself. I'm just glad I had a good christmas, I'm happy with me gifts, and that I got to see my family. Merry christmas everyone!

I loved your speech at the end! Not everyone is fortunate enough to receive expensive/many Christmas gifts due to their situations and I think people forget that especially around the holidays! Someone I used to follow on Twitter was complaining that they didn't get the right color Michael Kors bag and I was really disappointed. Christmas should be about family, not the gifts you do/do not receive!

Eva, I really liked it when you would speak out about not being able to afford things sometimes before- it really was what made you stand out from all the youtubers nowadays for me. I never cared that you weren't a pro beauty guru because you were so interesting already. I still love your style now and I know you probably have tonnes of money haha, but would be great to start seeing this down to earth and compassionate side of yours again!

Christmas morning I woke up and my mom was crying because she couldn't afford christmas this year so I hugged her and told her it was okay , because she trys her best and I'm greatful for what I do have . I have a roof over my head , food on my table , Electricy in my house , & most inportantly a beautiful hard working mom . I have all I could ever ask for . & some people don't have that , so everyone needs to be greatful for what they do have . 😍💓

Hah, did I get you? Do I sound selfish? You know what it was? To cure my dogs cancer. But it's okay, I'm going through it just fine. Even though she is going to pass on in 2 months, I'm doing well. I realized she's a 12 year old big dog. She out lived her life span. I had amazing times with her. I can't be selfish. I will be extremely sad. I just know I will get through it. Hope this inspired everyone that's going through struggles. Have blessed holidays and don't worry about the gifts. You have your family.

Oh no, I'm doing fine! Obviously I'm going to be torn into shreds when she passes, but like I said, I will get through it. I'm lucky for her to be living up to 12 years old. Very good for big dogs. I'm just knowing that every day with her is special, and to cherish the times I have left with her.

You have no idea, I struggled with acne so bad! You are not alone. I tried everything- proactive, various other cleansers, masks, exfoliators, toners, moisturizers, etc. What finally helped me was going to see a dermatologist, but I understand that's expensive, and I'm very blessed that I'm able to. I really hope you don't regard this as bragging
