My dog, Roxy, an 8 month old Border Collie, enjoys running around and playing at the ranch. The veterinarian said, she apparently discovered some wild shrooms in one the cow pies locally. This video documents her reaction.

@Hooda the Antagonist I wouldn't be so sure. Psychedelic trips are like that. It's a meta-experience beyond the duality of good & bad and contains elements of both. It can be scary, because you won't recognize familiar things as you're used to, but also pleasant because you're much more open to understand things above and beyond that framework of familiarity. I think that tail thing is a precognitive reaction to this bizarre sense of unfamiliarity, but overall she seems to be pretty comfortable and accepting of it.
Standard behavior models don't quite apply to tripping beings.

A person has, at the very least, a preconceived notion of what to expect when VOLUNTARILY ingesting a hallucinogen. A dog doesn't understand altered states and was most likely terrified. No one knows for sure. Let's say you have a 7yr old daughter. Hopefully she has no idea what drugs are and has no idea what any of them would do to her. Now, go drop a couple of hits of purple microdot, orange sunshine, strawberry mescaline, or whatever the kids do these days, in her juicy juice....... would that be an acceptable action? Absolutely not. It's my opinion and I'm aware they're like assholes and that we all have one. I remember taking hallucinogenic mushrooms as kid accidentally too, I was at my granny place and she always had her shrooms hanging drying in the kitchen, since our family loved to go together to the woods to gather mushrooms and eat it later, I never knew that shrooms can be anything else but food. So I was bored and I ate some dried up from the wall and went to play outside, the way this dog looking around being aware that something is different reminds of how I felt. I didn't put two together, but I remember how I suddenly felt everything was too real, my attention to everything got higher and after a few minutes, I just go accustomed to a new reality and just played on the ground because it was kinda hard to run or climb stuff 😂 only decades later I figured out what happened to me at my grannie's. 😅

The only way to deal with a rabid animal is to shoot it before it bites and infects anyone or anything else. If it's possible for an animal to be high on shrooms and exhibiting the swaying behavior, I wouldn't want to end up with an animal being shot bc people thought it had rabies when it didn't actually have rabies. I've had good and bad trips on magic mushrooms. The biggest factor is your state of mind b4 consuming them and how much you take... Decent mushrooms should have you hallucinating if you eat 1/4. 1/2 oz. should have you on another planet if they're any good at all. So, was the dose you took this much? Were they wild mushrooms from a cow field? 💩 Cause those can be hit or miss as far a potency is concerned.
My experience with psilocybin is that it can cause crazy, intense and vivid hallucinations if enough is consumed at once. I know others have experienced the same.
