I think CFA actually stands for "Colonies Francaise d'Afrique", which in English would translate to "French Colonies in/of Africa" (FCA).

That's not the native name for the continent, it was made up recently. The oldest known indigenous name for African land is Kemet, the original name for Egypt. It's not in use anymore, but it's older and more native than any other name we have.

There is a bright future for African countries. They took the most important step in rejecting the European colonizers and exploiters, and keeping out the collective west.
They need to seek relationships with China, Russia and others in the global south. And, they need to work hard against corruption in their countries.
All three countries invited Russia to bring in the military to help train soldiers and organize the military. In addition, Russia is providing state of the art weapons along with training. There are hundreds of Russian military personnel in all these three countries.
I read China recently provided military vehicles to Burkina Faso.
This development can be greatly accelerated by the African people if they start ousting all of their thoroughly corrupt pro Western political leaders.
Once the problem (neocolonialism) is dealt with, even corruption is to a significant extent, dealt with. Because neocolinialists are the corruptors.
They don't have corruption the presidents told the people to directly report any abuses and corruption directly and that took care of that. Its America and the west nato EU that are the most corrupt morally bankrupt nations on earth.

Having worked in both Libya and Nigeria for over 7 years. Even though it sounds wonderful, I doubt the success. Alliances between countries African countries made by military leaders are fragile at best.

I think the Sahel countries were emboldened by the Moroccan offer to access the Atlantic Ocean for commerce which would break the lack of access to export their mineral treasures and offering these countries a free trade zone, the countries who signed up for this economic block are Mauritania, Burkinafaso, Mali, Niger, and Chad.Morocco has put its infrastructure and ports at these countries’ disposal. This collaboration will help the Sahel countries succeed in their quest to kick out colonialism.

The UN is just for another colonial project. The UN does what America nato EU and us.
