Being a lady whos been abused by a partner, this song sums all the feelings i went through. You put upna wall to orotect what little dignatity you have left. The fear of what comes next will haunt me forever. Being turned into something you aint then questioning who am i? I hurt deeply even now, i was destroyed totally and im haunted by what happened even now

YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR REACTIONS, IS WHEN YOU GET INTO IT YOU SCRATCH YOUR HEAD!!
I GET INTO IT MORE, AND IT'S JUST WHAT I NEED TO SMILE!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING A TECHNIQUE TO GO YELL IT OUT. THE WAY NEGATIVE ENERGY EATS YOUR SOUL IS SO UNREAL.
NOT GONNA LIE THIS IS A STRUGGLE I AM TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF.
YOU MAKE ME SMILE EVERY TIME I WATCH ANYTHING YOU DO, NOT JUST MUSICAL REACTIONS, AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW PRICELESS IT IS TO ME WHEN I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T FIND A WAY TO PULL UP OUT OF MY
    OWN HEAD!!
KEEP ON SCRATCHING THAT HEAD AND SPREADING YOUR POSITIVE ENERGY!!
I AM TRULY GRATEFUL FOR FINDING YOU HERE, AND I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU IMPACT THOSE OF US WHO NEED LIGHT IN OUR LIVES!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND I PRAY A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR AHEAD FOR ALL OF US, & I HAVE FAITH THAT NO MATTER WHAT COMES OUR WAT YOU WILL BE A LIGHT TO BE A GUIDE
    IF IT GETS DARK!!
    GOD 🙏 BLESS YOU!!

Most of LP songs are based on Round-Chords frame.
That's why most songs fit into 4-bar music.
That's why they could put the verse lines into Chorus,
That’s why LP is a little bit poppy and trendy.
And that’s why LP’s Hybrid Theory was so successful.

Proud Tennessee Girl Trump 2Q2Q It doesn’t matter who wrote the song! This video is about Sexual abuse! I can relate because these words are MY life! EVERY SINGLE WORD I could relate too! If you watch the video again, watch the girl and how that guy comes in the room several times. When Chester was looking at his reflection, he was looking at himself through that girl and what was happening to her. He wasn’t as depressed as he seemed? He isn’t here because of suicide! Seriously!?

First of all RIP Chester Bennington 😔 This song is said to have a special meaning to Chester especially, since its lyrical content is based on his own life experiences. And due to such, he reportedly got emotional when he was called upon to perform “Crawling” live. While listening to Linkin Park’s “Crawling”, it becomes obvious that the narrator is dealing with a serious situation. The lyrics read as if he is inflicted with some sort of internal dilemma. And this dilemma ultimately results in “too much pressure”, ‘confusion’, ‘insecurity’ and other unfavorable conditions. But what exactly serves as the source of these issues is open to the interpretation.
This song manifests that nasty feeling that something is crawling under your skin. Much of the lyric delivered by Chester Bennington deals with the side effects of taking methamphetamines - a drug he used throughout his teens. The anxiety, hallucinations and a feeling of things crawling under his skin. The song, though, can apply to anyone feeling uncomfortable and helpless.
In the video, the girl (played by Katelyn Rosaasen) is physically abused by her father. At the beginning, we can see all her bruises. Many of the lyrics demonstrate how hard it is to break the cycle of abuse ("These wounds, they will not heal" and "It's haunting, how I can't seem to find myself again, my walls are closing in"), and how self-confidence is crushed. The blue crystal background closes in on her at the beginning of the first chorus - this shows an emotional shell that she has built around her. The thick make-up is like a mask, trying to hide what's going on inside. The septum ring is designed to link with Chester's lip ring. When the girl walks away from her boyfriend, it's because she's too scared to get close to people. This is also true for the high school bathroom scene. When Chester sings, "Against my will I stand beside my own reflection," he and Katelyn are looking at each other. She looks like she wants to get out of the shell she's in. She also sees painful memories from her past in the crystal. When the second chorus starts, the crystal begins to break and chunks of it are flying about - this is her shell falling down. It represents her father's departure, as does her smiling at the end with the roses in the vase. She's not wearing the thick make-up because she doesn't feel like she needs the protection of a mask - she's got nothing to hide from.

There is a slowed down version to this song with just piano and Chester's singing (live) that is just beautiful. I think it does use the same chord progressions as Numb... which I don't mind, because it's like "variation on a theme" (as my piano teacher called it)... but I love both these songs and also love your reaction to both. :) Edit: btw I love your mouth drumming that is awesome. I can't do that. Lol

For years he thought he was flawed
The demon cut deep with it's claws
Slashing away all he held dear
    Exposing raw fear
He believes what the voices say
    With his emotions they play
Assuring him he is to blame
Exposing his pride to the flame
    He fights to sane
His tears now leave his face stained
He does not see the beauty within
Love to him s a game he will never win
If he only could see through his tears
He would see others with the same fears
He will see he is not alone out there
He will find find someone who cares

This song represented molestation an the most personal for Chester Bennington (blond) lead singer. He never got over his molestation . This was written for Chester by Mike Shinoda. It isnt the same. You need to listen better to lyrics anyway. an the other songs on the album. The words matter. Chester had multi levels to his vocals. #ripchesterb Scream singing. It never goes away the subject of this video. Personal experience. Yes, LP did rap/rock. Until 3rd album. They started it really. This 2000 dude. This song was off first album Hybrid Theory. Numb off second album Meteora. Search.

Some people LOVE Linkin Park. Besides "Numb" nothing else impresses me that it's that interesting. Similarly, I've noticed their melodies seem rather cookie-cutter written.
It might be lame quoting a movie, but in the movie "Eddie and the Cruisers" I totally agreed with Eddie's thoughts about (good) music; "words and music" (melodies).
To me, you can't have one without the other. Well, you can have instrumentals, but if all music were instrumentals, then it would get pretty boring real fast. And words without melodies is just poetry.
There's another aspect to music, it has to have soul (not referring to the genre of music). A belief or passion that lies behind the words and melodies.
To me, Linkin Park is just intensity, but not passion. It's words, but not creative melodies. Basically, they made one hit song (with everything; passion, words, etc), and the rest of their career is playing off the wave of that one hit.
To me, Linkin Park is just a one hit wonder.
