A fantastic find! Until recently the dream of hearing Richter,(let alone SEEING him!)in Medtner seemed impossible.Here,beautifully filmed&recorded in company with the most sensitive&sympathetic Galina Pisarenko we have a feast that leaves us once again regretting and wondering that Richter didn't champion a composer who would seem suited like a glove. Thank you so much for a valuable post which fills the soul with warmth.

@NOSEhow2LIV Hi, thanks for your comments. There's Richter's introduction to the whole Medtner programme, in which he says that being the top of all Medtner's works these songs alone are enough to list him among great composers.
