If can be allowed a slightly technical moment, though, I think you'd be well served using short dissolves instead of hard cuts, especially when going from color to B&W. The music track is not rhythmic, and the langourousness of it makes the hard cuts feel jarring. Back to the emotional me- It really is so evocative and heart-breaking. Thank you for sharing it with us!
