  • This is a video of my first coal fired live steam loco (Sweet Pea) which I purchased on eBay. It has footage of my first steaming back in late summer and a more recent steam session after replacing a leaking sight glass and blow down valve.
If anyone recognises this loco and has any history on it or any tips and advice on how best to run this loco would be greatly appreciated as all my experience has been gathered from watch other You Tube videos

Derek, your railway looks great! At our club, it seems the smaller boilers and smaller fireboxes are less forgiving at keeping steam than the larger ones. All fun though!

You may watch Keith Appleton already but watch his clips for the steam pumps. And did thought I recognised the loco from eBay. Hope you have fun.
