Steve Jobs changed the name from Apple Computer Inc to Apple Inc because he wanted to see something more than just computers, but Tim Cook seems to be killing everything they started doing to do just that, like the Titan car project. Why did Cook kill it? Tim Cook is just giving us the same thing, the Vision is cool I guess but everything else is the same, the competition is doing so much more. Cook needs to go!
2012 was the last good year for Mac. All newer machines have the RAM and storage soldered in. You can't even upgrade the GPU. They are completely useless. So much for the environment and reusability. Throw it out and buy another.... My 2009-2012 Mac Pros take any GPU, up to 256GB RAM, and all boot to NVME. I wouldn't trade them for any newer Mac.
Main difference, Jobs was a visionary, and Tim Cook is a bean counter, supply chain guy. Who are the visionary people at Apple now and what kind of leash does Cook have them on.
@@freedonx what you Phil Donahue or Connie Chung you want an exclusive?…🙄 if you must know . the first one I have is the 4th generation the screen is cracked I wanna say beyond repair but maybe it can be repaired but it still works thank goodness . the second is a 6th generation wanted to upgrade unfortunately I left it in a protective case & over time the case for it gotten so bad it gotten embedded into the iPod that it started lifting the screen up & basically it sliced down the middle when I tried to remove it from the case & my last one witch is the last one ever is the 7th generation it works all my stuff is there my playlist & all downloaded but when I took it off of my computer all my music wasn’t there just all my playlist just no music witch sucks I’ve tried to get my music on it but can’t so I only have my 4th generation working witch I hate because it’s so fragile I have to be careful with it . There’s you’re exclusive print it & roll it on 11’O clock news 😂
The biggest issue with the Vision Pro is it isolates you from those around you instead of connecting you. Apple failed to realise that their most successful products connect people to each other. The Apple vision pro is a solo device that has no connection to other vision pro's and no shared spaces for everyone to interact in. It's that same issue Meta and all the headsets have.
I feel like I backed the wrong product again. Last time I did this it was with the BetaMax which was the superior hardware. This time it is with AVP…where Beta ended up is where I feel AVP will end up and again I’ll have an expensive piece of hardware that doesn’t do as much as others.
Who was going to spend nearly 4k on vision pro when it only had an M2 processor in it? As for Jony Ives he is a big knob, over paid, a man that ran on the hype and questionable substance. I upgraded to the iPhone 16 because my carrier was offering a watch 10 with it where they pick up the tab. That makes it a good deal. I will now hold till l can get back on the Fibonacci upgrade program with the iPhone 21 and then the 34 if I live that long. Since I am in Canada, I am not expecting to get AI for at least another year. So I end up with a better camera and a faster processor and more memory to do the same stuff I have been doing. But I was able to sell my iPhone 13 Pro for 80% of the cost of the 16 Pro. Not a bad deal for me. The person hat bought it was desperate and she owed me for being a PIA! So, I found the highest price on E-Bay and quoted it to her. It was up to her to decide if it was affordable.
I was hoping for a VR goggle that would replace a TV, but now I have a 55" OLED on the wall with a pair of HomePods ... second one is updating now, I'm presuming they'll sound nice, I've only tried to minis. I didn't want to dedicate this much space to entertainment, but meh, AirPod Max can get warm and overwhelm my sensory stuff so it might have been a poor alternative anyway, one of the drawback of ASD, sensory issues

At the end of the day, companies exist to make good products, satisfy their clients, and make money, not to focus on things that create controversy. They should be neutral, in my opinion. Ask Ubisoft. As big as you are today, there's no guarantee for tomorrow.
