Yes, this was a completely unexpected change, now it seemed as if she was the one who had cheated, while she had only wanted to protect her sister from the action her husband would take if he found out about her dishonesty. And because she had had to lie to do so, her own husband was about to file for divorce himself and that only because she had tried to protect her sister in the wrong way. I liked this unusual story of forgiveness and acceptance. Usually, giving the full truth of cheating only reinforces the rejection but not in this story. Although, Mandy didn't actually cheat and used her sexual charms at the end to get Tim relenting.
We always think better after a drink-great start. Blaming your sister for enabling an affair you could easily have not started or ended on your own seems kind of shaky. You assume you might have listened. There is no such thing as perfect trust in a marriage so get that idea out of your head right now. How would you feel if your wife lied to you about going out with her friends on your birthday and then threw you a party as a surprise? Has he never told his wife he felt ok when he didn't so as not to worry her? A lie is a lie. Granted some are worse than others, but they all ask you to believe something not true.
That's two different things son there's white lies which you tell your family to make them feel better and then there's time when you have to be totally honest and that was one of them first of all she should have told her sister that she wanted no part of it and as long as she was going to do that her sister would not be allowed in her life that would have fixed everything
