Who is going to be the first team to take over in CS2?
It’s a tricky thing to predict. The beginnings of this iteration of Counter-Strike are very different from previous iterations’, the state of the game isn’t great and the competition is stiffer than ever. The first taste of professional CS2 is a week away and the first Major in just a few short months.
Everyone’s grinding - and rumours are swelling - but who’s going to come out on top?

@@dhesdinova1747 I feel like it has to be FaZe. They're one of the only teams embracing CS2 in a positive manner, especially ropz. The strats will also shake up, and the FaZe players are all so individually skilled that they can probably dominate based on pure mechanics like what happens with every new esports game before the real meta develops.
I feel like mouz might be strong bet such a big young potential they already won their first and last t1 tournament i feel like they will stay strong in cs2 too

I believe it's hard to create a dominate era nowadays , since every team have very good strat analysts now, mouz's strat is no exception and should be studied by all others by now

the new update made a huge difference specially with awp because of hitboxes, which is good. Soon all will be good.
Mentioning Faze as undoubtedly a top team, even though they haven’t won an event in over a year, and not even mentioning ENCE who have easily been the second best team in the world for months.
Didn't FaZe win ESL Pro League less than 7 months ago? Also, just because you haven't won much, doesn't mean you're not a top team, I mean look at Heroic. Sure, they only won two premier lans, but they've gone deep into almost every tournament they attended and were one of the most consistent teams.

ENCE have done well in the last 3 tournaments they played. Faze has achieved as much for almost a year or more and they actually won some tournaments. Heroic (old one) is another example of a team which hasn't won as much but always made the finals. ENCE is not better than either of them.

Nah it actually doesn’t work though . It’s so bad and it’s unplayable . If your any rank over DMG you will notice . Any rank under then you won’t differentiate the game from call of duty

Honestly the only difference I feel between this and GO is the feeling of sprays. They just don't seem to be hitting like they should. I'll get a perfect sternum to crotch spray down and it's like the game just doesn't recognize that I'm killing them. However first shot accuracy feels insane on the Deagle which is a huge improvement to the GO deag IMO so idk I think if you were good at GO you'll be good at 2 there's not too many insane differences
my prediction is either G2 or Faze, Ropz and Monesy have been goin hard on stream recently

Team Falcons sounds hype, but given that its SA putting the team together, I cant help but feel its the same thing they pulled with FIFA going "No hey, we CANT be as terrible to our citizens as they tell you we are, we put money into their entertainment!"

I'm going with FaZe, never been a fan of the org but I'm a huge fan of Karrigan and I'm almost positive he'll land on his feet real quick.
I havent had any problems with cs2 but im also just a casual player and i dont really focus that much on the differences

I don't believe that the difference between csgo and cs2 are so important. I think nothing will change much. There will no big changes in the top30 with cs2.

They were never a utility-heavy team and peekers advantage in CS2 massively helps players like Xantares and Wicadia so they'll bring some noise early on.

I don't really know what people are talking about when they say like cs2 feels bad It feels better than valorant to me and I don't know if I'm crazy or valorie is just bad😅
Note I almost have a thousand hours in a valorant competitive now but cs2 aim wise feels better the movement is weird to me lol

7:07 I can't understand this take, they had to fight through teams like G2, Faze, Ence, Heroic (with Cadian) and Na'Vi ofc. I reformatted my pc and it feels so much better. I had csgo installed for a couple of years and upgraded it to cs2. Maybe some files from csgo were interfering or something. But it feels way smoother

The Krieg and AUG got a lot of play in challengers over the last few days. Wonder if they are going to be usable or possibly fall into their own role. I still feel like it was a bad decision to nerf both of them in obscurity. They cost more than the AK and M4 so they should play like it.
So strange to constantly rip into CS2 for bad hit reg which has always been an issue with CS:GO. I stopped playing CS:GO because of the awful hit reg and I've only played one competitive game of CS2 so take what a say with a grain of salt, but it felt so much better. The clip at 1:52 looks awful, but there are at least a million clips of the same thing happening on CS:GO.
I think that how teams perform in CS2 will be largely reliant on the IGL and Coach. You're aimers are gonna aim but the IGL and Coach have a lot more adapting to do
In cs2 idk why but p2000 is better than usp i miss all my shot with usp but with p2000 one tap
Game length will be the most interesting domino effect to me i think. Could change ecos, half buys, early game strats.
How I'm not surprised that these NA "experts" don't even mention ENCE although they have been clearly the world's second best team last few months.

I think Team Spirit will do great! They look great.
the "super team" doesn't really make sense on paper. You got Monesy on awp thats fine, twitzzz star player, okay but Niko IGL? we've seen how that goes lol. Boros??? support I guess? but he is more of a fragger anyways. Then dupreeh or magisk who aren't necessarily known for their lurking. Teams operate the best when people are most comfortable in their roles and there is just a lot of role clash imo. Sure there is fire power but I really could not say how this team will preform excited for roster moves.
I think NaVi is going to be best and I'm totally not biased just because they have the only Lithuanian pro player on there.

As how the question of how good any team will be, it's a question of how long even FaZe Clan will exist. They'll soon, or at least by the end of this year file for bankrupcy probably and Faze Clan CS is gone.
And I can see NiP doing -headtrick +Cadian as there as been rumors of movement.
dude i am seriously doubt that Niko and m0nesy will leave G2, there is no logical reason other than a money, but i am pretty sure that Niko is staying in G2 after this season, i mean 3 Big Lan trophies isn't small.
