It Started As A 3-Year Old’s Birthday, Then This Happened…

My wife had the great idea of taking our son to a new arcade and pizza place for our son’s birthday party yesterday- this started out innocently enough 😂
We let him run around and lose his mind, which was the main fun of it all-but eventually dad found himself walking around wondering why there were no good games.
After traversing the outer edges of the arcade- I walked by this and initially acted like I had no interest.
“Want to try it?” My wife asked after she caught me glancing out of the corner of my eye.
“I’m good.” I replied.
“You sure? She countered.
“Yeah, why- you’re asking like I have something to prove.” I quipped sarcastically.
Then, all of a sudden- a tiny, high-pitched voice pierced the airwaves…
“Daddy can you do it fast, I want to see it?”
I smiled and dropped my head for a moment knowing that once I stepped on that platform there was no return.
The mountains of cheap, God awful arcade pizza I had reluctantly devoured just minutes earlier were still lodged somewhere between my esophagus and my stomach.
Clearly I was fueled for next level performance.
Then- what can only be described as a masterful display of skill the likes nobody has seen since the Olympics ensued.
