This is actually closer to most of their other music compared to The Summoning which is something they rarely do.
Yes this feels like classic Sleep Token and its one of the many reasons I love this song
Tbh this is my new favorite Sleep Token song. I really though nothing could beat The Summoning, but i mean.... And wait til you hear Aqua Regia. Its even MORE outside the box. And also a masterpiece
I feel like Granite is a mix of Dark Signs 2.0 and High Water 2.0. And Dark Signs is one of my faves, and High Water IS my favorite, previously lol. Im so glad we are getting so much diversity on this album. Its really shaping up to be the MOST diverse Sleep Token Album, even more than This Place Will Become Your Tomb and Sundowning.
I’ve been listening to them for three years and they still blow my mind. Can’t wait for this album. Definitely AOTY for me - that’s a given

No “pop” at all…. This is pure vessel and technology collaboration at its best!!!
I have to say, I love every single song from these guys, but Atlantic is elevated up from the others for me. Hits all the feels: the lyrical content, and chord progression and gorgeous piano…give it a listen if you have time!

@@garyofalltrades it really is! 😊. I find myself unable to actually have a “favorite”, because every single song are just incredible pieces of art! But Atlantic holds a special place with me.
"very different: lol :) ...at least you mentioned you haven`t listened to their previous records but just FYI - Sleep Token are way more poppy than metal ;) They just have some heavy guitars and breakdowns in between some of the songs or full metalcore songs - like "Gods" from "Sundowning" ...But expect mostly pop /rock sound from them as a whole ;)
