My initial automatic thought was, “I should have taken profits” which lasted five seconds when my rational voice came in and said, “Finally! I can justify adding to my share count.”
It's only OK, if you bought in early, but NOT OK for those just got on board. (Disclaimer: I do not own any but will look for an entry point around $45.)
After listening to this I can say I’ve come along way in trading. In the past I would’ve panicked and sold to take profits. Now I sit patiently, add (example) 5 shares , if it goes down the next day, I add 5 more. If it goes down again, i add 10 more. Then repeat. Thanks for the confirmation!!! 👏👏👏
They love to manipulate good companies downwards and buy them. I've always maintained at least 20k in PLTR since it was 28. I've been as high as 40k but had taken it back to 20k. I just bought back 10k @70 and will buy 10k more @60. Great video!
The only time I make money is when I listen to Tom. Because when I thought I already lost 50% is when I make more because I DCA and Tom talk with his own conviction that gives me more insight of what’s happening in the market.
The point you made at 6:00 about new entrants entering due to the stock being an uppy-going thing is vital. It’s this buying that put the price higher. That they don’t know about the underlying company, which in Palantir’s case is anyway impossible, so they sell as it becomes an downy-going thing, well that’s markets.
When Cathy Woods has too much of a stock because it has gone up so much, she sells that stock in part, assuming nothing in the thesis changed. She does this because of risk management for her clients.
Yes, the only way for the fund to get more cash to buy other stocks is to trim some of the winners. Nobody wants an etf concentrated in one stock. You might as well just buy the stock at that point.
Rocking those NVDA, PALANTIR, TSLA, and APPL shares. Holding onto them for the long haul sounds good, but hey, I'm all up for grabbing those short-term chances too, aiming for that sweet $400,000.
Tom I’ve been watching your videos for several years now. I rarely comment but thank you for what you do and the time you take to do it. You’ve helped me as I am very young in the investing game. I’ve been in PLTR since ‘21 and holding strong.
No harm exit first to realize your profit. Can re-enter when market stablize. You can't control the macro environment with many variables and uncertainties but you can control your actions. It will be crazy if your profit disappeared in thin air. My 2 cents opinion.
If it falls to $60 or less....I'll stock up. I purchased this stock during the virus lockdown and waited and waited. So, I can keep waiting. Just like I did for Tesla.
I bought PLTR after the lock down expired. I have zero intention of selling. I’m buying more, margin be damned as soon as you say it’s time. Margin interest is non factor. Thank you as usual. Pete
Reasons for buying PLTR: 1. Dr. Alex Karp's hair told me to. 2. Their Defense contracts are recession hedges 3. Commercial customer S curve is still in early stage. Parabolic rise coming over next 12-18 months.
Can i ask tom , i saw nvidia's keynote yesterday and saw their workflow product ... Did it not look super similar to their own version of AIP ? With the only difference being that it even comes included with their own foundational models ? I know financially palantir is still as strong and stable as it can be , but what about this kind of competition from the king of ai themselves. It seems that nvidia are building the whole stack bottum up including the ability to generate the training data ... Its quite insane what they have 😅
but some stocks, when they fall, they never go back........look at Intel.....who doesn't have intel products at home? And look at how bad it performs in the past few years.
ETFS like ARK, Cathy Wood, cannot by law have more than 10% of any one stock in their funds. If a single stock rises too much, they are obligated to sell some of it to rebalance their fund. We go through this with her Tesla holdings every time it rises. She has to sell some of it, even though she is a huge bull.
also, didn't help that nvda ceo stated about inoq, qtbs and qubt stock being basically not worth it right now. he should shut up about other companies that he doesn't own
Me too, I was sweating but kept average down, and sold some to cash out. Now I have some at ~$12 average after cash out good profit. I will hold current shares for 10+ years
About dca money: what if you are 8n retirement and already have to supplement with some stock to provide for your living expenses. Should you sell even more stock in order to have money for the occasional dip? Or do you have to forsake the dca and buying the dip idea?
@TomNashTV Who knows I might be wrong...Hands down my best financial adviser in YT for 2020/21 harsh times.... cost me nothing, sold me nothing... so I did smashed that button long ago.
When u mentioned the prices u bought at why did u say now it’s 80 if this video is 2 hrs old the price hasn’t been close to 80 since Monday (didn’t break 80) now it’s Wednesday and it’s currently 68.34 dollars?
ARK INVEST logic is really simple, no stock represents more than 15% of any one fund. That's how Pat Riley ran the "Showtime Lakers" and yet they were highly successful and generated multiple HOFers.

You are 100% correct on Woods. I do the opposite. She is the worst investor 😂
Video Title: EMERGENCY! DO THIS ASAP!!! Video Content: Everything is fine.
Morgan Stanley downgraded it so they could buy even more. They already own 22 million shares. I know their game.
True
Damn that's just disgusting.
Yup and still buying

Agree on Cathie. It's irrelevant what she buys or sells.
She's possibly the worst fund manager around ...
I actually really like her. Every time she sells, my stocks reach new high within 6 months idk why
She's lost more $ than she's ever made. I don't know why anyone pays any attention to her.
@@flingwings4070 Yes, seems like she just churns the stocks.
Tom Nash is the only guy who makes sense.
Please
Agree!!
Nice sentiment, but he is not alone. There are others. Find your lane and stick to it.
he gives bad advice
My average cost is $16 and I’m loving it. Thanks Tom!
Before i even watch the video i bet i can sum this whole video up with two words. Keep DCA.
Oh how did you know, loll 😂😂
Haha ...almost. But it's a strategy that works🎉
100% agree
Yup. DCA. I’m selling merch that says DCA
As soon as he said Palantir was dropping I said "OMG Palantir is on sale" and bought more. Love your videos.
I don’t know if I’d go quite as far as saying Palantir is “on sale”. Lol. I’m adding as well but “on sale”? No way. Lol
Yep 👍 Sale price
Agreed!! SALE Price!
more sales coming
💯
That Cathie wood comment is killer 😁
Tom is so right. “Don’t panic, stay calm and stay the plan.”
Yep that's assuming you did your due diligence and have conviction
haha he might say dont panic but the video is called " Emergency" He is the drama queen lol
What’s the plan?
My initial automatic thought was, “I should have taken profits” which lasted five seconds when my rational voice came in and said, “Finally! I can justify adding to my share count.”
Ditto.
Double ditto
There will be better buying opportunities.
@@Gelhey I agree. $45 is about right.
27.50
Good job. %8 loss after %300 up is ok don’t panic!
100% loss after 300% up is still zero…percentage decreases work differently than increases :)
8% loss after 300% gain is 32% loss but ok
It's only OK, if you bought in early, but NOT OK for those just got on board. (Disclaimer: I do not own any but will look for an entry point around $45.)
@@ILoveTinfoilHats exactly.

Tom bringing sanity back again to the masses.
You’re 100% correct on Cathie Wood
I ran here to say the same thing.
I bought some shares today! Im collecting as much as I can afford
PLTR prob will go down the next months.
I love your videos, it's hillarious. Thanks for keeping us with a positive mind set!
Always!
Red is my favourite colour when it comes to Palantir, I love a good sale 🙂

If it drop to 60 - ill sell all my craps like paypal
If it drop lower +-50-55 i sell my microsoft
If it drop lower - ill tak a loan

Exactly! Don’t “lose” anything until you jump ship. Enjoy the discounts and keep on going….. long term this won’t matter!
Tom it's ok to take some profit when bought around $7, valuation high and risky
The point you made at 6:00 about new entrants entering due to the stock being an uppy-going thing is vital.
It’s this buying that put the price higher.
That they don’t know about the underlying company, which in Palantir’s case is anyway impossible, so they sell as it becomes an downy-going thing, well that’s markets.
Thanks Tom!!!! Yeah these others are not long term holders and when they sneeze the juveniles panic!!! Thanks again Tom
When Cathy Woods has too much of a stock because it has gone up so much, she sells that stock in part, assuming nothing in the thesis changed. She does this because of risk management for her clients.
Thanks. Makes sense.

Well said Tom, that’s exactly what I’m doing, deep breath, buy on this massive dip and hold on!!!
Rocking those NVDA, PALANTIR, TSLA, and APPL shares. Holding onto them for the long haul sounds good, but hey, I'm all up for grabbing those short-term chances too, aiming for that sweet $400,000.
Tom brings the quality once again
I got 60k now to invest early this year and I got no where to dump bro, everything is jacked up in the stock market.
Patience is everything......no rush to buy anything right now. The bargains will come to those who wait.
My grandads balls to space travel, agree totally
Bought some more Palantir and Nvidia today in the dip, felt justified to buy now. Might buy more if it gets to around 60
RIP to everyone who bought Quantum stock yesterday, today he is -45% 😢
Some of the puts 30k% gain
That opening monologue is worthy to spread across all investment platforms
Today it actually hit the 20% off its 52 week high which is actually 67.50 !
I would save some $$ because PLTR will go lower.
PLTR is still getting big contracts with businesses and the government. The next quarter report is coming in February.
There’s big chance they miss eps
Anyway, you nailed it with Palantir from the beginning. Great work!
I've watched your channel long enough to know that this is good news. Thank you.
Just about time to buy more Palantir stock
Thanks again Tom for calling me this morning and discussing our plans for 2025!
Looking forward to the next Palantier earning meeting in Feb. Where I can profit from the this dip today 💪
my reason to invest in palantir :
1. Tom Nash
Lmao! Gradpas balls and space travel!!! You win the internet today, Tom!
Haven't listened to you in a couple of years! Missed your voice!
I took my profit, so the rest is free shares . the profit i piled into AMD,,, will be interesting how they do, the next few years
I did same thing
dittooo
The p/e is 350!! Of course this will happen
Explain more

I bought some more Palantir. So thanks for the oportunity 😁
Thank you for your pep talk full of good sense!
Thank you Tom. The O.G. who cares and educates❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tom you are awesome. I truly appreciate your calm voice I the storm.
Love you. You’re absolutely on target. You’re in or out or you believe in the company for the long term.
More! MORE! More! I wanna buy more Palantir. Gonna buy more throughout the week. In it for the long haul. 🤑
under 70, bought a few extra shares... DCA
I bought PLTR after the lock down expired. I have zero intention of selling. I’m buying more, margin be damned as soon as you say it’s time. Margin interest is non factor.

1:23 You are KILLING me over here! 🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate that you explain your position so that a 5 YO can understand. Thank you
Reasons for buying PLTR:
1. Dr. Alex Karp's hair told me to.
2. Their Defense contracts are recession hedges
3. Commercial customer S curve is still in early stage. Parabolic rise coming over next 12-18 months.
Also, two insiders sold yesterday
It's a preexisting trading plan under rule 10b5-1. The predetermined sale would go through whether the stock was $1 or $100
Back to the $30 mark?
every single video be like, DONT DO ANYTHING DONT CLICK ANYTHING DONT DO NOTHING BUT LISTEN TO MY THICK EURO ACCENT
Looking at the chart it looks like those big moves and gaps would be the target. Way down at 45.
Given everything you said in this video, When would you use stop losses?
Buy More!!!! Love the channel. Keep up the good work bro🫡💪🏼
I sold out and went into nvda instead. Will buy again at 60

Fully agree with you about Cathie Wood. I don't consider her a good reference at all. Her historical track record is LOSSES!
I only listen to Tom his head is on right. All these other creative full of it
Picked up another $60k worth yesterday, looking to add $115,000 of META buy end of this month thoughts?

think pltr is volatile? Have you looked at soun?
Hang on for the ride!
Yeah what happens if you get an Enron type situation
As always good information Tom. Thank you.
Right. And she got rid of Nvidia before it shot up

Brilliant
I took my profit and am happy about it. PLTR is doomed to go down. Its PER is just crazy.
Agreed, cult members will baghold this to $20, that's when we buy again.
What have I learned from this channel? PLTR drops, buy more
