As a widower, I can say it doesn’t work that way. God will comfort you, and will help you to accept the inevitable. But he will not take away the pain. He will show you how to live with that pain, and how to move on in life after that loss.
I am an ex Mormon also and I am so thankful to God that he allowed me to see the truth. Who they think Jesus is was enough to make me realize I was lost as a Mormon. There is nothing like a personal relationship with Jesus. So happy God lead you to the true Jesus.
I also just left the Mormon church this year and have found a wonderful non denominational Christian church to learn. I feel like I've finally come home.
@@LarsonFamilyFarm-LLC They do believe Jesus was the son of God. That's why they think they are a Christian religion. It's the extra scriptures that are the difference. There is much that is acknowledged by the church on their website through "the church essays" admitting that the history is different than what they actually teach in church. Joseph Smith was supposedly a prophet who translated the Book of Mormon from gold plates, but the plates are not available to examine and the witnesses never physically saw them. Also, he wasn't looking at the plates to translate them. He put a stone in a hat and put his head in the hat and received revelation for the translation. But the illustrations in the manual show him sitting with the plates while translating them so the members aren't aware off the real story. When I left the church for other reasons, I finally allowed myself to look into "anti mormon" literature and though some didn't jive with me, much of it did. Especially the information that I could confirm directly on the church website.

Remember that one king/leader/ruler in the book of Mormon that wrote just one sentence...basically said..."I am a bad wicked man" and ended his thoughts revelation with just one sentence. THAT has troubled me for years...cause either that is true, of God or of the Devil. Joseph was translating either with God or the Devil....cause the one sentence statement sealed things with me. No man alone could devise that. This is what i know in my heart...clever Satan could. Too many "It came to pass" phrases in the book of Mormon, what's up with that?
I'm LDS and have a sweet Relationship with my Savior. I don't do the works for his Love I know his sacrifice covers my sins. I strive to be more like him and those things I do bring me closer to him by being his hands.

Many people are stuck on the works. The works are in service and keeping the commandments. Grace is what we rely on, but God says we need to serve him and keep his commandments. We do need to have a personal relationship with Jesus and I am sorry that people in the church don't understand that. Not all are that way. I have had a personal relationship with Jesus since I was young and that is because I needed him and he was there.
Was raised in Mormon faith and they are amazing, loving people! They follow Biblical principles yet have additional "scripture" as in The Book of Mormon and The Pearl of Great Price. We left when I was young so I have no opinion on those books. I am born again and now attend a non denominational church with unwavering Biblical standards and serve the community with love. The main thing I recall about Mormons is their preparation for disasters such as food storage, and they had an internal "welfare" system where if there was a member in need, they would pay that person to do labor for another member that needed a job done. Even as a child, I knew that was brilliant and wondered why the country didn't run that way...? Blessings my brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you Troy, this message gave me comfort!
One of my clients was Mormon and the only thing that I really found that was difference in our beliefs was the Trinity. But then it made me question if you don’t believe in the trinity then could you truly believe in the Bible. Because the Bible talks about the Trinity… I don’t know it was very confusing but like you said very sweet loving people very loving very caring very kind she told me that she believed in Jesus as your Lord and Savior but just didn’t believe in the trinity. And that through works of helping others they could become higher in a kingdom with God or something like that I could be stating it wrong but it was something about sort… But I do know that we went back-and-forth about the trinity.

I have heard that they think Jesus and satan were brothers, that we all can become Gods, the freemason influence in their church and much, much more. Superficially it looks somewhat similar, but one could almost even say that about Islam.
@@Richard-xu8to only those that want to progress beyond this life and want to be like our Father in Heaven , they are those who can become like Him. Everyone else will be what they want to be. That is the nature of God. There is a lot to learn but many people will not have it and do not want to believe. That is called agency and God will give you what you desire which is also what you believe. I have studied the scriptures, I have sought the Spirit in my life, and I listen to and follow him as well as a prophet of God who receives revelation from God for the church. Howdy Troy! I was Mormon for some years, also tried other denominations. The best I found is no certain church. It was written in the book of Genesis, and other books of the Bible...God just wants to have a good close relationship with us all. Just hanging out with God every day is fun, don't have to worry about anything, and for knowledge of absolutely anything all you need do is ask. I laugh more and have a good day, every day, more than I have during most of my 65 years of life. My vision is getting better, as well as my health and demeanor. All I did was give my life to Jesus, wake up every day and give thanks for all His blessings, then go enjoy the day no matter what I am doing, no matter what the weather is or anything else going on in the world. I guess I never really understood what carrying the cross every day really meant until just this moment. God is so wonderful! Just wanted to pass His Love and Goodness on. God bless you all!

I was a Mormon for 30 years, and during the COVID time, I was teaching from home and would turn on my TV to hear the word of God through TBN. Then, I got COVID, and by then I had learned that needed to come to the Lord to surrender my life to Him. Ever since, I have been the happiest, healthiest, and hungriest for His presence and word that I cannot get enough of Jesus. Praise the Lord! He is so loving and wants to free us ALL from any bondage. I have also been praying for all the loving Mormon people, church, and my three children that Jesus makes His radical change of freedom because they need to come to know the REAL Jesus. I am so happy the Lord is answering these prayers. Thank you, Lord Jesus! Hallelujah! All the glory and power to Him.
I'm "Mormon" and I know the REAL Jesus. He has always been there for me. I have been dreaming dreams of things to come since I was 16. He saved me from death when I was 12. I have trusted in him and I will continue to do so. During Covid lock down, when we did home church, my family and I grew closer to Jesus and to each other because we worshiped the Lord and partook of the Sacrament each week in our home. I sing praises to God and give glory to him and have felt and seen his power in my life. It all depends on where your heart is. I pray for all the good people in the world no matter what religion they belong to right now.

I know that God speaks to all who will listen and love him. I love him. He speaks to me and I listen. Troy, I know of 2 youtube families (actually more) who are Mormon who are soooooooo awesome to watch & they are so dedicated to talking about Jesus & the Holy Spirit in their lives. It's a very beautiful & inspiring to watch them!! Not Enough Nelsons & The Chatwins are 2 channels, but there are more. I believe they are just as committed to God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit as any other committed Christian regardless of what church they attend.

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 47 years. We believe in God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost. We have a prophet at the head of the church Russel M Nelson, who receives revelation from God and Apostles that lead and guide us. But as members of the Church and members of your church, each of us are encouraged to pray, to have that personal relationship with God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost. I love God and his Son Jesus Christ with all my heart, and the Holy Ghost has been such a godsend to me in my life for it has blessed me greatly in many areas. I constantly feel my Saviours love, I know he loves me, and he never deserts me. It is the natural man who deserts God, never God himself. You speak of the Mormon Church, but it’s true name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. However, i feel in my heart there is much goodness in Troy Black and the messages he brings to people. I know the Holy Bible is true as far as it has been correctly written, I know the New Testament is true, I know The Book of Mormon is true and every word in that book is true, I know The Doctrine and Covenants and The Pearl of Great Price is true. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and through him the Church was restored to this earth. Why do I know this, because I prayed and the Holy Ghost bore witness to me. I am not here to condemn Troy Black, I respect him, and love him, and If he brings many people to Christ, then so be it. I was raised Mormon and practiced up until the last 2 years. Since 2020, God has been calling me to come know Him. It has been a long process for me, but earlier this year, I read Ephesians 2:8-9, and it was as if the blinders were taken from my eyes in an instance. This verse changed my life.
That's awesome! I love that scripture, but what about verse 10? God woke me up in 2015 and let me know he is coming soon. He opened my eyes to a lot of things and helped me to heal from mental and emotional trauma. God is good! I am still a "Mormon" because he taught me at the age of 19 that it was true and that Joseph Smith is truly his prophet that opened up this dispensation. I know it and I love it just like I love the Lord himself! God bless!
I had to check your words were not my own! After reading Ephesians 2:8-9 I could not believe the Mormon "blinders" had fallen from my eyes. They had prevented me seeing just how good the Good News is! This verse changes my life every day with the relief "Thy Will be done" it's not all about me! I converted through a powerful spiritual experience that the Book of Mormon is true concerning the Western continent, as well, as the Eastern Continent of the Bible. First and foremost, the Bible comes first in my life. If a person believes in the Dead Sea Scrolls, in having the Book of Mormon, what is the difference? I joined the Church of Jesus Christ when I was twenty-two years old. Only through prayer and three sets of missionaries and a year of studying did I join. I love you Troy and the growth I have seen in you today and two years back. When you speak of the one-on-one with our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, and listening and waiting upon the Spirit to teach us, I had started myself before I started listening to you two years ago. I left the Lord in 2001 after losing my Mother and my Husband within 5 months of each other, but I found my way back home with my Lord and I will never leave Him again.

I have followed you and other evangelicals and have loved the sense of Broader Christian Unity and understanding I have been developing by coming to understand your beliefs. I think that a lot of non members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints receive their understanding of our beliefs by listening to other non members, and do not go to those who actually know and fully understand our doctrines and beliefs. Many members of the church are weak in understanding and do not fully understand either, because The gospel is vast and unfolds over a lifetime of study, and is truly amazing! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not in need of a shift toward the truth. All Christian faiths should open their minds and hearts to one another because we will be needing one another. You have judged us without understanding. The Church is the restored gospel and contains the fullness of the truth. You have no idea what you are missing by closing your mind to understanding….your belief that Latter Day Saints believe we must perfect ourselves without the atonement, and earn our way to God is completely false. Your belief that we do not have a personal relationship with Christ is completely wrong. You obviously have no knowledge or understanding of our doctrines, our beliefs or our knowledge of truth. Some of our terminology differs, but many of our beliefs are in harmony with yours. Jesus Christ and His ESSENTIAL ATONEMENT is at the very center of our beliefs, and of our temples. You would be amazed by what you would learn by opening your mind and listening to what we could share with you. I testify to you that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and that he loves and has great hope for every soul on earth. Jesus is mighty to save. He is a SAVIOR! He is THE SAVIOR! That is what he does! And he is GOOD AT IT! I love Him and my whole hope is in him, as yours is. I hope you can open your mind and heart and look into the amazing truth that the restored gospel contains, and that Christians will stop judging one another without understanding.
That the tithe is what makes a Mormon worthy to enter the temple goes against the Word of God. There has never been a serious, concentrated effort, and focus on the study of the Holy Bible until President Nelson introduced the mandate a few years ago and began focusing on the need for the members to hear the "holy spirit." Most didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Bible study has not been taken seriously and still takes a back seat to The Book of Mormon. Many Mormons will admit they have never even read the Holy Bible. Sure, passages from the Bible are tossed out, once in a blue moon but the focus is and always has been the Book of Mormon. The focus and teaching have always been about Joseph Smith, and other leaders of the church. It should only be about God, and his son, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This was not something from Troy, but a loving message from God. I see that you feel he judged you, however, he only gave you a message from God. God loves you, and wants your relationship with him to be closer than you ever imagined. The Bible itself says, There is no other name under heaven, whereby we must be saved, in Act's 4:12. Nothing from another book, nobody in a desert, a prophet cannot save you, a true profit will direct you only to the lord, and not yourself, or himself. Just ask God himself to show you. He does that!
I appreciate your thoughtful comments. If you are really interested in understanding what members of Christ’s restored church believe, you will find more valid information by going to the source rather than asking outsiders who don’t have first hand, correct knowledge. I have been sincerely seeking to understand the beliefs of other Christian faiths and have been talking to members of other Christian faiths, and following podcasts like Troy’s, of those from inside the various faiths in order to get a correct understanding. I believe we as Christians of all denominations are going to need to understand, stand up for, help and love one another in the coming days because we are facing an attack from Satan and his minions that is growing stronger by the day. @@judithrasmussem2922 I have about 30 LDS members in my family. I am aware of the doctrine. The word of God itself, the Bible, is the only thing anyone needs. With love, I would love to see you have a wonderful relationship with God, and his word. His word itself is all you need. Other books that are added to Gods word are warned about in Revelation 22:18.
To know so much about what the Latter-Day Saints teach, surely you are a long tome, seasoned member of the church. Or maybe you have eaten the poison Apple from some ex-mormons, who never came to know God or His son to start with. Parable of the sower, not everyone who accepts the gospel will embrace it fully and ensure to the end. It should be no surprise when people fall away from the truth.

I've been praying for the Mormon church. Many mormons I know are genuinely seeking God and seem to really love Him. Obviously I cant see their hearts but if they switch to really loving Jesus, they could be a powerful force toward Jesus

I just saw your video. I was a born again Christian with a true heart for the Lord. I studied the scriptures diligently. I fell away and became a card carrying “temple Mormon “ for 35 years. During that period I had a difficult time wrapping my head around The Book of Mormon. I kept questioning and that is not allowed. I couldn’t understand the incongruent doctrine that kept changing in the Mormon church. Questions are swept under a rug and members are looked upon unfavorably for questioning. I felt like a round peg trying to fit into a square hole. Throughout all of those years I still held onto Jesus but the war raged inside of me. It’s impossible to serve 2 masters. Yes the works thing is so against the true gospel of Christ! It’s about Jesus Christ so none can boast!!! It’s not uncommon to have 8-11 callings for one person to do. Having a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus is not encouraged. It’s about how much unquestioned slave labor a member can perform. It took me 10 years to get out of the church. That was with a lawyer’s letter. Freedom came in 2019 praise the Lord!! Thank you for living by the Spirit. Your message gives me hope for my dear friends that are still in the Mormon church blinded.
I absolutely relate and I so glad you are now able to truly feel freedom in the love of a relationship with God! The biggest eye opener for me was learning blasphemous quote of JS. As well as hypocritical sudden shutting down the oh so required church services for two years. Many many contradictions and the more you put pieces together of what been asked in a temple ceremony then you will absolutely know what the intention of the religion was.

Troy, I am thankful for your openness to God and for allowing his love and truth to show through you in humility and faith. I don't always like to hear what you say but I am always enlightened and blessed. Please pray for me as Christ has been growing me in closeness and openness with himself. At times, I am frustrated, at times I am overwhelmed because it seems that many if most around me even those who love & serve the Lord, have blinders on to the many things happening in the spiritual world as the natural world seems to almost spin out of control. It is like they are aware of it but don't want to talk about it or afraid to verbally acknowledge it. I'm not sure why...It is almost like they won't discuss it because even though the Bible clearly talks about this turmoil, it isn't specifically laid out plainly in chronological order that it would be wrong to try to decipher it deeply like trying to understand it better would be almost like adding to scripture or trying to be psychic or something inherently evil & against God or not fully trusting/ relying on him. Thank you Troy you confirm what I as a Catholic struggle with at times. I experienced a profound dream in November of 1985. After that scripture opened up the words were not mere words but cut thru my heart. I struggle with surrender though because due to an abusive upbringing I learned to be hyper vigilant to my own detriment. Vulnerability and gentleness I saw as weakness and instead I’m loud outspoken and that rarely achieves what could be achieved if I could let go and truly surrender and trust that no matter what happens or us allowed to happen thru Gods perfect will as in the Our Father is so much more than what I cannot achieve by remaining the same. Please pray for me and my children all grown. In a special way please pray for my daughter Michelle she left her faith and uses tarot cards psychics. She also has deep wounds from me after I lost my father to suicide and was told after giving birth to my son in 1993. Thank you for allowing Jesus to use you as His instrument to unite all of us.

Dear Troy, I have been listening to your RUclips channel for a while now. Maybe closer to a year. My husband and I have been in ministry since 1967. We have been missionaries (Vietnam), pastors, (Yuma Az.), Pastoral Counselors, to the Greater Asia area, (we have traveled extensively for eight years), and in 2019 when we were living in AZ., closer to our adult children ministering as PC for CTEN w(now 2 1/2 years) when my husband was invited to take the position of Executive Director at the missionary agency which we were serving as PC since 2012. We accept the invitation and move to Kerrville, Texas expecting to be here for at least 7 to 10 years. Nevertheless, in June of this year, my husband told me the Lord was releasing him from his position and told him to move to Show Low, Arizona where we have proprietary because He (the) Lord wants us to minister to the area which is predominantly Mormons. As for me, i was not very happy at first. Nevertheless, the Lord showed me personally too that He was moving us. Also, I believe I heard He telling me to “go to the list sheep of Israel!” I really never thought much about the Mormons accept that they are a cult. My daughters have had good friends in the Mormon community, since we lived in AZ., which I always cautioned them to be careful!” Now as I am writing: My husband and I are in the process of packing our home here in TX., and getting ready to move back to AZ., to the Show Low area. I was in the midst of packing when I heard your message from the lord regarding the Mormon on your RUclips channel. I had to stop just to “SECOND” your message from the Lord regarding the Mormons! I do not know what God is about to do in the Mormon Community or around that area but I know it’s something that only He knows and will have to guide us step by step. God has spoke to me most of my life starting probably since birth. I love God and I fail him daily because I’m not perfect. I can only strive to live every day living in Gods love and word.
Jesus Christ came so that by the Holy Spirit we learn how not to fail Him daily. Go in prayer and ask Jesus to reveal you what is the truth, open up to the idea that you may be wrong...if you truly want eternity with Jesus Christ, would it be a big deal if you were wrong? There used to be a day when I, a fully enrolled mormon then, would have said that I was Christian too because I believe He is my Savior. Since then, I have come to understand that my spirit was not what my religion's intent was. It is a cult, and it is not of God. @@LarsonFamilyFarm-LLC They do believe Jesus was the son of God. That's why they think they are a Christian religion. It's the extra scriptures that are the difference. There is much that is acknowledged by the church on their website through "the church essays" admitting that the history is different than what they actually teach in church. Joseph Smith was supposedly a prophet who translated the Book of Mormon from gold plates, but the plates are not available to examine and the witnesses never physically saw them. Also, he wasn't looking at the plates to translate them. He put a stone in a hat and put his head in the hat and received revelation for the translation. But the illustrations in the manual show him sitting with the plates while translating them so the members aren't aware off the real story. When I left the church for other reasons, I finally allowed myself to look into "anti mormon" literature and though some didn't jive with me, much of it did. Especially the information that I could confirm directly on the church website.

Remember that one king/leader/ruler in the book of Mormon that wrote just one sentence...basically said..."I am a bad wicked man" and ended his thoughts revelation with just one sentence. THAT has troubled me for years...cause either that is true, of God or of the Devil. Joseph was translating either with God or the Devil....cause the one sentence statement sealed things with me. No man alone could devise that. This is what i know in my heart...clever Satan could. Too many "It came to pass" phrases in the book of Mormon, what's up with that?

Many people are stuck on the works. The works are in service and keeping the commandments. Grace is what we rely on, but God says we need to serve him and keep his commandments. We do need to have a personal relationship with Jesus and I am sorry that people in the church don't understand that. Not all are that way. I have had a personal relationship with Jesus since I was young and that is because I needed him and he was there.

Was raised in Mormon faith and they are amazing, loving people! They follow Biblical principles yet have additional "scripture" as in The Book of Mormon and The Pearl of Great Price. We left when I was young so I have no opinion on those books. I am born again and now attend a non denominational church with unwavering Biblical standards and serve the community with love. The main thing I recall about Mormons is their preparation for disasters such as food storage, and they had an internal "welfare" system where if there was a member in need, they would pay that person to do labor for another member that needed a job done. Even as a child, I knew that was brilliant and wondered why the country didn't run that way...? Blessings my brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you Troy, this message gave me comfort!
One of my clients was Mormon and the only thing that I really found that was difference in our beliefs was the Trinity. But then it made me question if you don’t believe in the trinity then could you truly believe in the Bible. Because the Bible talks about the Trinity… I don’t know it was very confusing but like you said very sweet loving people very loving very caring very kind she told me that she believed in Jesus as your Lord and Savior but just didn’t believe in the trinity. And that through works of helping others they could become higher in a kingdom with God or something like that I could be stating it wrong but it was something about sort… But I do know that we went back-and-forth about the trinity.

I have heard that they think Jesus and satan were brothers, that we all can become Gods, the freemason influence in their church and much, much more. I was Mormon for some years, also tried other denominations.
The best I found is no certain church.
It was written in the book of Genesis, and other books of the Bible...God just wants to have a good close relationship with us all.
Just hanging out with God every day is fun, don't have to worry about anything, and for knowledge of absolutely anything all you need do is ask.
I laugh more and have a good day, every day, more than I have during most of my 65 years of life.
My vision is getting better, as well as my health and demeanor.
All I did was give my life to Jesus, wake up every day and give thanks for all His blessings, then go enjoy the day no matter what I am doing, no matter what the weather is or anything else going on in the world.
I guess I never really understood what carrying the cross every day really meant until just this moment.
God is so wonderful!

I was a Mormon for 30 years, and during the COVID time, I was teaching from home and would turn on my TV to hear the word of God through TBN. Then, I got COVID, and by then I had learned that needed to come to the Lord to surrender my life to Him. Ever since, I have been the happiest, healthiest, and hungriest for His presence and word that I cannot get enough of Jesus. Praise the Lord! He is so loving and wants to free us ALL from any bondage. I have also been praying for all the loving Mormon people, church, and my three children that Jesus makes His radical change of freedom because they need to come to know the REAL Jesus. I'm "Mormon" and I know the REAL Jesus. He has always been there for me. I have been dreaming dreams of things to come since I was 16. He saved me from death when I was 12. I have trusted in him and I will continue to do so. During Covid lock down, when we did home church, my family and I grew closer to Jesus and to each other because we worshiped the Lord and partook of the Sacrament each week in our home. I sing praises to God and give glory to him and have felt and seen his power in my life. It all depends on where your heart is. I pray for all the good people in the world no matter what religion they belong to right now.
I am happy to be a "Mormon" belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that we have a prophet of God who leads the church. Russell M. Nelson. I know that God speaks to all who will listen and love him. I love him. He speaks to me and I listen. Troy, I know of 2 youtube families (actually more) who are Mormon who are soooooooo awesome to watch & they are so dedicated to talking about Jesus & the Holy Spirit in their lives. It's a very beautiful & inspiring to watch them!! Not Enough Nelsons & The Chatwins are 2 channels, but there are more. I believe they are just as committed to God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit as any other committed Christian regardless of what church they attend.

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 47 years. We believe in God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost.
We have a prophet at the head of the church Russel M Nelson, who receives revelation from God and Apostles that lead and guide us. But as members of the Church and members of your church, each of us are encouraged to pray, to have that personal relationship with God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost.
I love God and his Son Jesus Christ with all my heart, and the Holy Ghost has been such a godsend to me in my life for it has blessed me greatly in many areas. I constantly feel my Saviours love, I know he loves me, and he never deserts me. It is the natural man who deserts God, never God himself.

That's awesome! I love that scripture, but what about verse 10? God woke me up in 2015 and let me know he is coming soon. He opened my eyes to a lot of things and helped me to heal from mental and emotional trauma. God is good! I am still a "Mormon" because he taught me at the age of 19 that it was true and that Joseph Smith is truly his prophet that opened up this dispensation. First and foremost, the Bible comes first in my life. If a person believes in the Dead Sea Scrolls, in having the Book of Mormon, what is the difference? I joined the Church of Jesus Christ when I was twenty-two years old. Only through prayer and three sets of missionaries and a year of studying did I join. I love you Troy and the growth I have seen in you today and two years back. When you speak of the one-on-one with our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, and listening and waiting upon the Spirit to teach us, I had started myself before I started listening to you two years ago. Through the Spirit, I was taught that. I am so pleased and thankful for your message on this subject. I agree and you were listening to the Spirit, when you said, "like a blender". I see for myself that is true. I have struggled with the culture ever since I joined the Church. Each time I prayed, 'Be still and know that I am God". I am where I am to be. With that said, the Church is changing, and decisions are being made through the spirit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could speak with you one on one, we could learn from each other. I have learned much through you.

I left the Lord in 2001 after losing my Mother and my Husband within 5 months of each other, but I found my way back home with my Lord and I will never leave Him again.
Wow, yep it’s surely a process. A beautiful process. I got saved and rocked by the Lord . Shortly after that, I got hurt by someone in the church. It caused me to backslide so bad. But God is so good and will keep on calling you. Thank you Jesus for never giving up on me.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have followed you and other evangelicals and have loved the sense of Broader Christian Unity and understanding I have been developing by coming to understand your beliefs. I think that a lot of non members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints receive their understanding of our beliefs by listening to other non members, and do not go to those who actually know and fully understand our doctrines and beliefs. Many members of the church are weak in understanding and do not fully understand either, because The gospel is vast and unfolds over a lifetime of study, and is truly amazing!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not in need of a shift toward the truth. All Christian faiths should open their minds and hearts to one another because we will be needing one another.
You have judged us without understanding. The Church is the restored gospel and contains the fullness of the truth. You have no idea what you are missing by closing your mind to understanding….your belief that Latter Day Saints believe we must perfect ourselves without the atonement, and earn our way to God is completely false. Your belief that we do not have a personal relationship with Christ is completely wrong. You obviously have no knowledge or understanding of our doctrines, our beliefs or our knowledge of truth. Some of our terminology differs, but many of our beliefs are in harmony with yours. Jesus Christ and His ESSENTIAL ATONEMENT is at the very center of our beliefs, and of our temples. You would be amazed by what you would learn by opening your mind and listening to what we could share with you.
I testify to you that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and that he loves and has great hope for every soul on earth. Jesus is mighty to save. He is a SAVIOR! He is THE SAVIOR! That is what he does! And he is GOOD AT IT! I love Him and my whole hope is in him, as yours is.
I hope you can open your mind and heart and look into the amazing truth that the restored gospel contains, and that Christians will stop judging one another without understanding.
That the tithe is what makes a Mormon worthy to enter the temple goes against the Word of God. There has never been a serious, concentrated effort, and focus on the study of the Holy Bible until President Nelson introduced the mandate a few years ago and began focusing on the need for the members to hear the "holy spirit." Most didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Bible study has not been taken seriously and still takes a back seat to The Book of Mormon. Many Mormons will admit they have never even read the Holy Bible. Sure, passages from the Bible are tossed out, once in a blue moon but the focus is and always has been the Book of Mormon. The focus and teaching have always been about Joseph Smith, and other leaders of the church. It should only be about God, and his son, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This was not something from Troy, but a loving message from God. I see that you feel he judged you, however, he only gave you a message from God. God loves you, and wants your relationship with him to be closer than you ever imagined. The Bible itself says, There is no other name under heaven, whereby we must be saved, in Act's 4:12. Nothing from another book, nobody in a desert, a prophet cannot save you, a true profit will direct you only to the lord, and not yourself, or himself. Just ask God himself to show you. He does that!

If you are really interested in understanding what members of Christ’s restored church believe, you will find more valid information by going to the source rather than asking outsiders who don’t have first hand, correct knowledge.
I have been sincerely seeking to understand the beliefs of other Christian faiths and have been talking to members of other Christian faiths, and following podcasts like Troy’s, of those from inside the various faiths in order to get a correct understanding.
I believe we as Christians of all denominations are going to need to understand, stand up for, help and love one another in the coming days because we are facing an attack from Satan and his minions that is growing stronger by the day. I pray for those who sincerely love our Savior, everywhere, continually.

With love, I would love to see you have a wonderful relationship with God, and his word. His word itself is all you need. Other books that are added to Gods word are warned about in Revelation 22:18.
To know so much about what the Latter-Day Saints teach, surely you are a long tome, seasoned member of the church. Or maybe you have eaten the poison Apple from some ex-mormons, who never came to know God or His son to start with. Parable of the sower, not everyone who accepts the gospel will embrace it fully and ensure to the end. It should be no surprise when people fall away from the truth.

I just saw your video. I was a born again Christian with a true heart for the Lord. I studied the scriptures diligently. I fell away and became a card carrying “temple Mormon “ for 35 years. During that period I had a difficult time wrapping my head around The Book of Mormon. I kept questioning and that is not allowed. I couldn’t understand the incongruent doctrine that kept changing in the Mormon church. Questions are swept under a rug and members are looked upon unfavorably for questioning. I felt like a round peg trying to fit into a square hole. Throughout all of those years I still held onto Jesus but the war raged inside of me. It’s impossible to serve 2 masters. Yes the works thing is so against the true gospel of Christ! It’s about Jesus Christ so none can boast!!! It’s not uncommon to have 8-11 callings for one person to do. Having a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus is not encouraged. It’s about how much unquestioned slave labor a member can perform. It took me 10 years to get out of the church. That was with a lawyer’s letter.
Freedom came in 2019 praise the Lord!! Thank you for living by the Spirit. Your message gives me hope for my dear friends that are still in the Mormon church blinded.
I absolutely relate and I so glad you are now able to truly feel freedom in the love of a relationship with God! The biggest eye opener for me was learning blasphemous quote of JS. As well as hypocritical sudden shutting down the oh so required church services for two years. Many many contradictions and the more you put pieces together of what been asked in a temple ceremony then you will absolutely know what the intention of the religion was.

Troy, I am thankful for your openness to God and for allowing his love and truth to show through you in humility and faith. I don't always like to hear what you say but I am always enlightened and blessed. Please pray for me as Christ has been growing me in closeness and openness with himself. At times, I am frustrated, at times I am overwhelmed because it seems that many if most around me even those who love & serve the Lord, have blinders on to the many things happening in the spiritual world as the natural world seems to almost spin out of control. It is like they are aware of it but don't want to talk about it or afraid to verbally acknowledge it. I'm not sure why...It is almost like they won't discuss it because even though the Bible clearly talks about this turmoil, it isn't specifically laid out plainly in chronological order that it would be wrong to try to decipher it deeply like trying to understand it better would be almost like adding to scripture or trying to be psychic or something inherently evil & against God or not fully trusting/ relying on him. I don't mean to sound critical. Maybe it's God's way of reigning me in--to just be quiet, listen, and learn?? But I can't help feeling like I am supposed to share things that I am learning. I guess, I just need prayers for discernment, please. And,may God continue to bless your ministry, Troy.

Thank you Troy you confirm what I as a Catholic struggle with at times. I experienced a profound dream in November of 1985. After that scripture opened up the words were not mere words but cut thru my heart. I struggle with surrender though because due to an abusive upbringing I learned to be hyper vigilant to my own detriment. Vulnerability and gentleness I saw as weakness and instead I’m loud outspoken and that rarely achieves what could be achieved if I could let go and truly surrender and trust that no matter what happens or us allowed to happen thru Gods perfect will as in the Our Father is so much more than what I cannot achieve by remaining the same. Please pray for me and my children all grown. In a special way please pray for my daughter Michelle she left her faith and uses tarot cards psychics. She also has deep wounds from me after I lost my father to suicide and was told after giving birth to my son in 1993. Thank you for allowing Jesus to use you as His instrument to unite all of us.

I have been listening to your RUclips channel for a while now. Maybe closer to a year.
My husband and I have been in ministry since 1967.
We have been missionaries (Vietnam), pastors, (Yuma Az.), Pastoral Counselors, to the Greater Asia area, (we have traveled extensively for eight years), and in 2019 when we were living in AZ., closer to our adult children ministering as PC for CTEN w(now 2 1/2 years) when my husband was invited to take the position of Executive Director
at the missionary agency which we were serving as PC since 2012.
We accept the invitation and move to Kerrville, Texas expecting to be here for at least 7 to 10 years.
Nevertheless, in June of this year, my husband told me the Lord was releasing him from his position and told him to move to Show Low, Arizona where we have proprietary because He (the) Lord wants us to minister to the area which is predominantly Mormons.
As for me, i was not very happy at first. Nevertheless, the Lord showed me personally too that He was moving us. Also, I believe I heard He telling me to “go to the list sheep of Israel!” I really never thought much about the Mormons accept that they are a cult.
My daughters have had good friends in the Mormon community, since we lived in AZ., which I always cautioned them to be careful!”
Now as I am writing:
My husband and I are in the process of packing our home here in TX., and getting ready to move back to AZ., to the Show Low area.
I was in the midst of packing when I heard your message from the lord regarding the Mormon on your RUclips channel.
I had to stop just to “SECOND” your message from the Lord regarding the Mormons!
I do not know what God is about to do in the Mormon Community or around that area but I know it’s something that only He knows and will have to guide us step by step.
I believe will be ground shake (for the lack of a better expression) in the Mormon Community.

Thank you. I did pray with you. I am Mormon and I’m somewhat confused as to what you said about them finding the truth. I always believe in the word of God before religion or man. God has spoke to me most of my life starting probably since birth. I love God and I fail him daily because I’m not perfect. I can only strive to live every day living in Gods love and word.
Jesus Christ came so that by the Holy Spirit we learn how not to fail Him daily. Go in prayer and ask Jesus to reveal you what is the truth, open up to the idea that you may be wrong...if you truly want eternity with Jesus Christ, would it be a big deal if you were wrong? There used to be a day when I, a fully enrolled mormon then, would have said that I was Christian too because I believe He is my Savior. Since then, I have come to understand that my spirit was not what my religion's intent was. It is a cult, and it is not of God. I can boldy tell the world this and I feel it is my obligation to do so. Please definitely pray for all being deceived, especially the mormons!
