I've wanted one of these for a while now, even contemplated making one.

nice video, I have 2 of these Eppleys and used them as my main voltage standard before I bought Fluke 731B, and my findings are similar, the Fluke 8502A 8505A needed more precision.

Yes, these unsaturated cells have a relatively short useful life (5-10 years? IIRC), so they're basically a curiosity these days.
But I still wanted one!
