7005-AB Vacuum Lifters for insulation glass production

A certain amount of support is needed for the rear pane(s) of glass when taking freshly sealed insulation glass units from their production line. This is especially true of triple-glazing units. For these scenarios, Gethke Glas Gronau GmbH & Co. KG in Gronau decided to use the 7005-AB vacuum lifter with supporting feet. The device was produced in accordance with the wishes of Gethke Glas.
Here is a short list of the required properties:
- easy handling
- active - fast RELEASE
- pneumatic economy circuit, to minimise the consumption of compressed air
- it must be possible to move glass sizes of 3.00 x 2.00 m up to 6.00 x 3.21 m
- maximum glass weight of 1100 kg
The pneumatic economy circuit not only saves compressed air, it also reduces noise emission levels for the employees involved. It is also used for continuous checking of seal integrity. If the vacuum generator cuts in frequently, the device is leaking and needs to be repaired.
With the quick-release function, it is quick and safe to set down insulation glass units.
