Imagine dwelling in a place for the longest time … your home…and strange people come uninvited into your domain … changing your environment with construction…some expecting you to act like a “trained seal” … I’d be surprised, upset, maybe retaliatory…uncooperative…then sometimes maybe they’re lonely and just want a little respect and empathy…but I don’t know, sometimes it feels almost intrusive to enter these places.

I suspect that my family would have me committed, but I’d jump at the opportunity to conduct a paranormal investigation with an experienced team. When I’ve confessed this to friends, and they ask me if I’m not afraid of ghosts, I always say, “No-after all, I plan to BE one some day.”
I live in the old home where my husband was raised-where his father took his own life four decades ago. My husband passed away a little over a year ago, so I’m alone. And yes, nearly every night as I try to sleep, I hear a variety of noises, from footsteps to what sounds like loud thumps on the walls. Strangely, it doesn’t frighten me. I’ve come to accept that we’re always surrounded by the spirits of people who have passed. It’s just that at night, we’re forced to be still and quiet…and, therefore, more aware.

@6:11-12 there’s this quick, weird sound when Katrina is walking up to the third floor talking about exchanging experiences with Heather.
Then, you get mad goosebumps and start to feel weird once you reach the second floor just seconds after that strange sound!

Loves these episodes, but would love to see more in them or longer scenes. I think you two should start a Kickstarter and see how many of us fans would contribute so we can see more. Or like a previous person stated, Kathrina and Heather have their own show on Travel Network. Just my thoughts. Patiently awaiting the next episode.
I think Katrina and Heather are doing fine--and it can only get better. Being on any network would involve them with money hungry executives, and thus, demands for more sensational content. That means a lack of respect for the beings they encounter as well as the locations. You know you're in a "simulation" when the macho host treats everyone like dirt, but if anything paranormal happens (not likely) that person shrieks and runs away or gets "possessed."

I think it would be interesting to see if you had the history on the place and Heather didn't, how different your experiences would be. To see how much our mind plays into what we might view as an experience when knowing history of things.
Nice investigation.having done a few here in the UK,I would like an opinion on something,I have been into places that people have been to the week before and said it was so active,yet when I’ve been it’s been flat no activity that would be classed as interesting. do you think that the energies get drained by us or used up in an effort to communicate with us? Or as Katrina states it’s an ebb and flow .
I can vouch for this exactly the same when I have done investigations and also I’ve done the same locations with different groups of people and that also has an effect, I fully believe it’s the energy you bring to it and they way you go about it and a lot of ebb and flow with places

I totally believe that so much needs to be factored in when doing anything... especially a paranormal investigation! When you vibe with other humans in a peaceful & friendly way & present yourself to spirits as such... it's felt!

Toward the end (17 mins in) when you ask if you should leave it sounds like a male voice starts to say "absolutely," and the woman says "absolutely" over top of him. Maybe I'm hearing things.

I think you two kinda hindered yourselves by not doing the walk thru with the client. For example, you would have known to take roses into that room with the lady or you would have known about the bells on the cabinets in the room on 3rd floor. This is the 3rd show I’ve watched with Katrina and the 2nd one with Heather. This show is unique in that there are 2 strong, experienced females conducting the investigations, and I L O V E it. ❤❤❤❤❤

The lady of that house might be horrified by our modern dress and manners (or lack of manners. Im so curious if she would have been more communicative if she was approached in a manner more familiar to her time period.
I hate the geoport. I can never decipher the words Katrina hears. (With the rare exception--I did hear the "nine" in this episode.") It's way too echoey. I'm always disappointed when she chooses that as the method of communication.

Watched ya’ll years ago. Glad to find you. But with all the new cool ghost gadgets in 2023 why dont you use more of them? I know they aren’t a guarantee of ghosts but I think they are useful tools instead of just listening for knocks and footsteps.

Hi thanks for your feedback. This is all part of investigating the supernatural. It's not a proven phenomena yet so it's a lot of trial and error and because of that we can't guarantee repeated results. So much of it is documenting how you feel in space because it might lead to something more objective. i think TV/media has really skewed expectations when watching this type of content. I've been a professional in the field for close to 20 years and this is how a typical investigation goes. There's a lot of content out there with fakery that I think seems more exciting to a lot of people. We don't fake anything with TTD and we don't lean into the sensationalism surrounding the field. Hope that helps with with we do/who we are. :)

U no u honestly have to appreciate an opinion like i found this quite boring!............................no disrespect to the person who had that opinion! But with the cheap editing an the constant need to prove to anyone that will listen that found something......... it takes away from the investigation........the history this location provides an the idea that you are not always going to find something! With that being said i do enjoy tthe content..................opinions shared in reviews always worth reading! An happy hunting!

We're definitely not the channel if you want overhyped non-stop action. These are our real investigations that we do privately. Real investigating gets boring sometimes.
