Its age old traditional bengali style of draping saree. Daily use me aj kal aise nahi pehente hai mostly, normally draping karte hai. But in durga puja or some other puja occasions we do flaunt our bengali style draping.

Bengali women wear red Sindur on forehead not only for decoration..we wear it because we are "Shakta" believe in Shaktism.. "Jaha devi sarba vutesu sakti rupeno sansthita...." is our maha mantra..it means women are source of power.. that's why women wear red Sindur..
