They keep putting out new devices, rather than working on getting their current line up working properly. but since they "got big" they don't care, its all about the cash grab at this point. Its obvious. I remember when they first came out they were actually listening to their customers and getting fixes out and optimizing feeds etc for their Cams. now its one issue after another. "Lets just throw out another device and make all the features we promised would be free forever, no longer available. They are doing what every other company is doing, and its becoming a subscription service, because without it the cams are useless. think about it, you pay "$20" for the cam, but you have to pay the fee each month forever. You are better off getting wired cams with a DVR and network, just a one time charge and its more reliable.
Great idea. But you should make the camera 2k at minimum. Increase the price as necessary because 2k is needed. I will say that Wyze is my favorite home security/smart home brand. Ring would be second. Keep up the great work. Love what you're doing (except going back to 1080p)

When viewing recored events with a V3 it starts, pause skips 2-5 seconds, plays in jerky motion when it has camplus service, a V3 that does not have camplus you can view recored events with out the pausing, skipping and jerky motion. This also happens when you try to view playback. Yeah sure buy a new OG camera see if that works any better. Always coming out with new products and never mind fixing problems with other versions of the cameras
Yeah it seems that's the case with all cloud events, I bet if you click view playback and watch it directly from the SD it plays fine. (That's my situation anyways)

When will the Wyze app be able to be used in landscape throughout on an iPad? While it works in livestreams, isn’t it getting a little old to not be able use the app throughout while the iPad when attached to a keyboard in landscape?

It appears as if Wyze has forgotten where they came from, a great cam a great service will be no more again do not purchase the Wyze cam OG you do not get the same benefits from the original cam.....no Cam Plus Lite service 👎 and that sucks

When will you switch away from usb-a and move to usb-c
I'm testing out a cheap mod to do it myself on an old v1 to see how easy it would be, the C connectors are zuper cheap, wish me luck!

My OG didn’t come in the box vertical up like that it was bent over in the box and it won’t unbend to go vertical.

Currently, Wyze Cam OG is only compatible with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
