The price of $100 can get you a proper hotel room in many 3 star hotels. So i don’t think its worth it.
Yeah in singapore u can get ,$100 for 3 star hotel but like in not so good area
Maybe this capsule hotel located in good area like in raffles or marina bay i think so its got a high price

I stayed in Single Inn in Taipei before COvid. Very similar to the expensive one. The price for one person was 30USD and got free breakfast as well.

I felt like you both are just visitng the hotels without attempting to stay in the hotel for full experience. Which is something i felt like your team should be doing so that viewers can have a better understanding how it felt like. The both of you did not even bring spare clothes or anything and it is not meant to be a review. The thing you had done is based on first impressions but not reviewing as you did not attempt to try the experience as a full. I know this is just a first impression review. Maybe can do Part 2 where you guys stay the night to get the full experience for a more credible review? Would like to know if u can sleep comfortably throughout the night (because they give earplugs I assume it'll be noisy...)? And curious to know what is served for breakfast.
I stayed at the pod several times and to really try the bunk type, can opt for queen size dorm style. Cheaper but more capsule feel.

The reason why I would want to stay in a capsule hotel is to obviously save money so like picking an expensive one is just extra 😂 and given that I already know that I will be living in a capsule hotel, I would already expect it to be in a confined space and not spacious like the expensive one I might as well just get a normal room and not a capsule hotel

Are you sure you both knows how to rate properly? Are you even comparing the prices and think which is more worth it? If I were to pay $100 for a a pod, I might as well top up a little more to get a hotel that has a toilet to myself. In my opinion the first pod definitely looks much fancier than the second one. & you guys got the suite for the second “pod”. How is that a good comparison?
first place definitely should get a higher rating. $18/pax for a capsule hotel with that quality. Cant understand why the second place get so high ratings. it looks horrible for $100

Im not a claustrophobic but I dont like when my room door is closed during at night. Maybe I will try for a night but definitely not a couple of nights staying there. That's why, I have to save money for a conventional hotel to be convenient whenever I travel.
