Very lovely song, and as per my understanding of the language it is narrating an age old legend? I hear words like Ato-Topo, dogin, jajin-ja etc.. and im really curious to know if this song is narrating Ato-Topo's migration from #Dogin to todays settlements? Which i feel is same Ato-Topo of Topo clan of Upper Subansiri where i belong to. We say :- Topo Lode Jissi Pann Ligu Titu. I would be very thankful if anyone do me favour of replying to my doubts.
@@speakml7740rother are you saying that other than Topo people from subansiri valley areas, there are more Topo descendants in various Galo areas for some examples: aalo Basar etc? Here I always believed that we are the only Topo descendants, because me and most of us have never heard of any other clan or society which is named after same "Ato Topo" in any other part of Arunachal. Or is it right, that the larger Topo's living in and around Yomgo valley or other areas are now divided into various sub-clans and these sub-clans are now their official clans and societies? which is why they don't have any clan or society just named after "Topo" like Topo clan or Topo Society from upper/sbnsri? Kindly enlighten me 🙏
@@speakml7740thank you brother for this vital piece of Information. Even being very approaching I never got this from my elders. The genelogy, myths and narrations u mentioned above are very similar to that of ours. And I am quite happy to know that Ato-Topo has much larger branches than what I always believed. But I also understood the inaccurate pattern of segregation of tribes among western and eastern Tani people. There is no genuine cause-root for all the tribes we see today, for eg: Adi which might have derived from Modi, probably which means people living in and around hills. Nyishi (Nyi = human, shi = earth) which simply means the civilized humans. Tagin :- The word Tagin is said to be derived from Dogin which is Dogin Moko, and people from different areas started calling us Tagins. APATANI :- as per my understanding of the word "Apatani" (Apa means paternal uncle, Tani means Abo Tani). Galo :- I think this word has been derived from the word Adi-Gallong. Mishing :- (Mi means a person, shing is derived from Asing(water), which simply means people living near water or rivers. Kindly forgive me if I had done any mistake in my words or unintentionally hurt someone's sentiments 🙏 The earlier leaders of the state could have done something much better with more clarity, which would have been unifying all these tribes and Arunachal as a whole, instead of segregation of groups as different tribes.
Maximum Galo’s are descendants of Ato Topo. I don’t find any differences in language between Dumporijo Galo and Liromoba Constituency Galo. Once Upon a time Topo clan were proud Galo, GWS founding member belong to your clan ( Sername: Paksok)
