Find that the casual", of the saying "smart casual", has been more the normal!! I like to wear something nice to the main dining rooms. But seen ragged jeans etc. And it takes some of the elegance that the ship is trying to impress you with. There is lot of other places to eat, if you don't want to change into something nicer.
Definitely more on the casual side. It does surprise me if they are making a rule and not following it. We just want to know so we can pack accordingly.
Thank you for the tips. Yes, I agree with you, the servers do make or break the meal. Sometimes, you have to do the inquiry. Which I will do if I have your same experience. It appears much like a chefs table where they make the food come alive. You have to appreciate that experience. For us Canadians it is 74$ on sale. The great thing about specialty restaurants that I find. When you have a food allergy. They go out of their way to accommodate that. Which is appreciated. The theming and decor was neat, but we hated the food so much, we left! It actually made my daughter feel sick, and it was supposed to be her special 18th birthday dinner. We were so grateful that they still served us dinner in the main dining room because we arrived an hour late after bailing from Wonderland. The food is visually interesting, but people need to be aware that it is VERY strange, and I really can't understand how anyone can actually enjoy the food.
I appreciate your videos. You are experienced cruisers attending a restaurant you had researched, so I'm a bit surprised you didn't ask for more courses which could have improved your enjoyment and offered more content for your viewers. I really enjoy 150 Central Park on Oasis class and this Wonderland doesn't seem to be in the same league. It's akin to Celebrity's Qsine concept on their Solstice Class ships of the 2009-2014 era.

I wish you guys had a better experience. When I went on the Wonder of the Seas the mad hatter was there and our waiter literally gave us everything on the menu. Ate things I never thought I'd eat. Except for the entree's, of course we only got one each lol. I loved the ribeye! And that melted chocolate sphere,I remember ours had gold dusting on it. Though as much as I liked the designs of Wonderland on the Wonder. I really like the designs I saw on that ship. Are all the Wonderland designs different?
Thank you for your review….I would like to try Wonderland and I do agree, the staff and how they embrace the uniqueness is vitally important to overall “specialty” experience and 6 courses vs 3….👍🏻 I hope you try it again on another of the ships that offer it. 😊
This is a pretty disappointing review; I understand that all experiences can vary, of course, but my experience there while on Harmony was so amazing that I absolutely cannot wait to go back, and even plan to reserve 2 nights! While it’s obviously best to have a wonderful server, I am surprised that you did not ask for the things you wanted/expected (more courses), and even saw others around you enjoying. I would encourage everyone that if you’re not getting the service and options you *should* get, just ask! :)
This is so strange. I hope when we go on Anthem of the Seas that they serve us the right way. I thought you were supposed to get all of the "appetizers"/small plates, then one entree and a dessert?
I was just there yesterday. While I don't have too much trouble eating different foods, I ended up leaving because the menu could not be read easily with the water brush. So I asked for a menu that was clear enough to read. The server promptly got me a good menu. The menu is a disorganized mess. While it is broken down into the 6 different elements, there is no distinction as to what is an appetizer, an entree, or a dessert. The server did try to make the menu make some sense. However, they also changed some dishes from entrees to appetizers. At this point, I had enough and I left the restaurant. What a shame! I was looking forward to trying some different concepts of food. But I had menus given to me that were written in a different language that made more sense than that menu.
That’s too bad. We have found that the server can make or break the experience. It is a lot of money for inconsistent experiences. Thanks for watching and commenting.
They should get rid of wonderland and add a different restaurant , we had the same experience with the menu , I thought it was a joke , my girlfriend laughed at me when I ate that weird mushroom soup thing on a spoon. We had lunch at hooked earlier in the day and that place is awesome , 150 Central Park is too but then you go to wonderland and you’re like wtf is this?!?

We loved wonderland when we went on Harmony! Definitely don’t go if you are not an adventurous eater.

They do have different designs. I liked how this one was done as well. The theming was my favourite part.

Prices are getting crazy, we were just on it a few months ago, that said prices change based on many factors. Sadly.

Not good food. Very poor value for money
That was my feeling. We are actually going to give it another try on wonder of the seas. I’m interested to see if it redeems itself.
