I haven't agreed with you a lot lately, but on this, I 100% agree with you. He was probably going to take a year off anyway, so this suspension isn't shit. Two years should have been mandatory. You should really get kicked out of the sport for cheating. But at least he admitted it in court to doing it, and we finally have the truth.
Let's face THE TRUTH. This is why Devin attempted to stand directly in front of Ryan and make it a toe to toe type of an exchange. He actually trained with the readiness to face him in close proximity without running from his opponent. His plan was to prove he's the more superior one with a better skillset. He came in honest and in natural fashion and as pure as you can possibly be in the sport. But Ryan stepped in the ring heavy on the JUICE. The immediate short term effects of that stuff when it's in your system before it starts breaking down and decaying the body causes all of your senses to react much faster at the fraction of a split mega second with all muscle fibers fully elevated at a high level of Superman type strength you do not naturally possess. So Ryan cheated. Devin had no chance against him that night. He wasn't even warm enough to yet feel his way through the first and second round of the fight. He didn't take on a natural opponent. He took on one who was fully controlled and fully driven by the power of a very potent performance enhancer.
Rayan Garcia just escaped tougher punishment. He harbored in his head criminal intentions to harm and kill. Devin escaped death. Thank God Devin is still alive.

Yea you must not know how the legal system works. What happened is called a "plea deal". Plea deals happen when the prosecution does not have enough evidence to proceed so then getting the verdict they want is risky but also it means the defendant doesn't have enough evidence to completely get off/they don't want to risk it so both parties meet in the middle and come to an agreement. FYI about 90% of cases have plea deals because the prosecution does not have enough evidence
