Faouzia sounds more comfortable in low register while Mariah sounds more comfortable in the high register. Proves they both have different voice type and ease when it comes to notes. When it comes to 2022 imo Faouzia takes the win❤
Nope, she's soprano and developing, having comfort in the lower range doesn't make you a lower voice type. She doesn't even have naturally low harmonics in her voice which can be clearly seen in most mezzo. The "darkness" that she produces comes from the manipulation of her vocal tract aka darkening
@@ChưaBiếtVocal-o6y your comfort range absolutely defines your voice type. It’s called tessitura and is the most important factor in determining someone’s voice type. As to your last claim of her darkening her voice, I’m assuming you mean by lowering her larynx? This is wrong, she actually has a high larynx in what would be mid belts for a soprano (2:55), but still maintains a dark and heavy tone. This is because this is her natural tone. A soprano with Faouzia’s skill would not have to put this much effort into the C5-D5 area. These notes are much more intense for her than they would be for a soprano like Ariana or Demi, who are not even on Faouzia’s level skill wise, yet have much more ease in this area because they are true sopranos.
Hard to really compate Mariah is a Queen in her own rights having been at it so long while Faouzia is still up and coming and is finally getting noticed about her singing talents!
Low notes: C#3 - Faouzia (weirdly enough, the note actually seem to be right in the middle of C#3 and D3 so it's kind of hard to tell which one it is but it sounds more like a D3 to me than a C#3; either way, Faouzia takes it... Mariah's was extremely airy and her larynx was very low) D3 - Faouzia Eb3 - Tie E3 - Tie (Faouzia's was actually an F#3 and this one is confirmed, unlike the C#3/D3 situation) F3 - Faouzia F#3 - Faouzia G3 - Tie G#3 - Mariah (Faouzia's G#3s were actually A3s) Belted notes: A4 - Mariah Bb4 - Mariah B4 - Faouzia C5 - Mariah C#5 - Tie D5 - Tie Eb5 - Faouzia E5 - Mariah F5 - Tie F#5 - Mariah G5 - Mariah G#5 - Faouzia (both were definitely not completely live; Faouzia's seems to have had some sort of effect on it but was still live while Mariah's was lipsynced so Faouzia gets the point) Low notes - Faouzia Belted notes - Mariah Weirdly enough, it's actually a tie. If head voice were in this, Faouzia would win for sure, which actually says a lot considering there are very few young singers like her, if any, that can even come close to the likes of Mariah, Whitney and Celine 🤍
however if whistle register were taken into consideration Mariah would take it (although I know that Faouzia also has a pretty good whistle register). Agility-wise they’re both perfect. They also have amazing songwriting skills. They have similar talents
*Lows:* Faouzia *Mid-Belts:* Tie (Faouzia sounds more dense but Mariah sounds more open and resonant). *Upper-Belts:* Mariah Both are incredibly agile, too! ✨ *The Songbird Supreme and The Vocal Avatar* ✨ (I thought of her Hero video and how she can basically do anything with her voice and do it quite well, kinda like how Aang, The Last Airbender was an avatar who could use all the elements 🌊🔥⛰🌬 *We need an iconic moniker for Faouzia* Do y'all have any ideas?
I have always thought of Faouzia as sort of a vocal Chameleon because her voice is versatile, and she can sing a wide range of genres. But I like the Avatar comparison better 😊.
Faouzia have such strongand beautiful voice she shine all the way through her range and her low are so crisp
Faouzia sounds more comfortable in low register while Mariah sounds more comfortable in the high register.
Proves they both have different voice type and ease when it comes to notes.
When it comes to 2022 imo Faouzia takes the win❤
So true, Faouzia has stronger and darker lows than the entire Vocal Trinity and she's untrained. Definitely a young Mezzo-Soprano.

I prefer Faouzia
I like Mariah but i love Faouzia .❤
Two of the best ever in my opinion.
Faouzia is the mariah of our generation. Period
Hard to really compate Mariah is a Queen in her own rights having been at it so long while Faouzia is still up and coming and is finally getting noticed about her singing talents!
Well, Mariah is still a human and one day some female singer will perform better than Mariah.
Low notes:
C#3 - Faouzia (weirdly enough, the note actually seem to be right in the middle of C#3 and D3 so it's kind of hard to tell which one it is but it sounds more like a D3 to me than a C#3; either way, Faouzia takes it... Mariah's was extremely airy and her larynx was very low)
D3 - Faouzia
Eb3 - Tie
E3 - Tie (Faouzia's was actually an F#3 and this one is confirmed, unlike the C#3/D3 situation)
F3 - Faouzia
F#3 - Faouzia
G3 - Tie
G#3 - Mariah (Faouzia's G#3s were actually A3s)
Belted notes:
A4 - Mariah
Bb4 - Mariah
B4 - Faouzia
C5 - Mariah
C#5 - Tie
D5 - Tie
Eb5 - Faouzia
E5 - Mariah
F5 - Tie
F#5 - Mariah
G5 - Mariah
G#5 - Faouzia (both were definitely not completely live; Faouzia's seems to have had some sort of effect on it but was still live while Mariah's was lipsynced so Faouzia gets the point)
Low notes - Faouzia
Belted notes - Mariah

I love faouzia but Mariah Carey is legend her vocal range is not joke
*Lows:* Faouzia
*Mid-Belts:* Tie (Faouzia sounds more dense but Mariah sounds more open and resonant).
*Upper-Belts:* Mariah
Both are incredibly agile, too!
✨ *The Songbird Supreme and The Vocal Avatar* ✨
(I thought of her Hero video and how she can basically do anything with her voice and do it quite well, kinda like how Aang, The Last Airbender was an avatar who could use all the elements 🌊🔥⛰🌬
*We need an iconic moniker for Faouzia*
Do y'all have any ideas?

Faouzia's lowest note is Bb2 and her highest isA6
Now is faouzia before mariah
Too early to compare Faouzia to Mariah, female singers reach their prime near their 30s ( my opinion not a scientific fact).
Mariah herself was in her prime during her 20s not 30s
Personally I only care about the tone thats why Whitney Houston is better than Mariah to me, and Faouzia is the best of her generation.
