Because of its geographical location South America doesn’t get flights from Asia. The farthest flight to BOG is Turkish that flies from Istanbul in a 787 or 777. SKBO does have 9 daily flights to Madrid served by A350, 787 and A340. Finally there’s talks about a flight to Australia with a stop in Peru due to the airport’s altitude (2600 m above sea level) which restricts a lot of potential flights
Sadly due to road closures and unfavourable runway operations, this is all the “good” footage I managed to get. Although I have plans to revisit in a few months to try again!
@@HDMelbourneAviationThere is a guy who is a ATC for El Dorado airport and also does youtube content. Get in touch with him for a spotting day at the control tower (probably the best option for spotting at the airport)
sr What are u talking about ? This airport is the second best one in LATAM just behind Benito Juarez that has 65M passanger per year. El Dorado Bog has 45M per year.
