- T-Bone Wolk bass track soloed on Maneater Mulitrack!
T-Bone was a musical genius and multi-instrumentalist however its his bass playing that I loved the most. RIP T-bone!
Sorry about the bad slide show! This is more about listening to the great man play! - Видеоклипы
This is the kind of bass playing that will always keep you working, T -Bone always had a killer P-Bass tone.
This guy was special. Obviously, he had music in his bones. He couldn't help it. Some are simply born with "music from within."
His playing here is so air tight...each note placed in the perfect place...with a natural, organic feel. I adore this guy...
you are spot on!
I had to laugh at one of the comments who suggested this was a fake and maybe I had played it! I IWISH ! :)
Tbone was Daryl's best friend for years. Special musicians for sure. God bless him and comfort 🙏 Daryl 😎. 💘
I loved this fantastic musician and saw him perform in Billy Joel's band in Paris in 1994.
This song is the reason I bought a bass guitar.
this song and Commodores nightshfit.
@@TransamJc doesn't that song have keyboard bass?
@@bassfiddlesteve most of today's live versions does keyboards for the bass. But the original recording was a bass guitar.
same
T bone was a Bad ass
Who in their right mind down thumbs this..oh well..it's amazing!
Fantastic line, perfectly executed by one of my biggest bass heroes. I would kill to hear "One On One" with the bass isolated!
one of my favorite lines
Miss TBone!!!
Great musician!
Very tasty lines! Love this dude.
He was a beast on bass and guitar..and a good vacalist - We Gone Jam When I Catch Up With You - Rest Well Brother
Love his style and performances! RIP. Definitely and inspiration to me.
Awesome!
brilliant player much like Donald Duck Dunn adding great xtra's/fills which enhanced the songs so much.
I friggin' love these isolated bass tracks. I use these for the cover bad I'm in to play THE CORRECT BASS LINE, DOWN TO THE SMALLEST NUANCE. Yeah, I'm pretty damn hardcore OCD, when it comes to covering a bass line from someone else.
well, this is the ACTUAL TRACK! T-Bone wolk was an amazing musician - this feel is off the hook!
That's exactly why I use 'em. When duplicating someone's bass lines, and you wanna do it some actual justice to it, the devil is in the details.
classic. masterful.
Wow!!! Thanks a LOT!!!. This is very useful for easy bass covering!!!
Superb Tone. Thanks for sharing. Cool name too. Cheers. Niall Featherstone 🎸
I noticed in most the covers and tutorials on RUclips they play the B to A on the low E string. T bone is definitely using the lower position with the open A string here. It even has a slight harmonic as he rest his finger on the open A. This position also allows for the fills he uses
You're probably right. T-Bone had the most amazing feel. He was a huge part of the Hall and Oates sound - they struck gold when he auditioned for the band. I met him a few times too - he was always very nice.
@@TONY_FEZ him and G.E. were a force to reckon with for sure
Apparently, he plugged strains into the mixing board on this cut... Amazing..
T-Bone was and still is the truth
It's really really hard to play simple well. I think it's one of the hardest things to do being a bass player. Being flashly commands more attention, but I like bass for being a simple instrument that drives the tune. I just LOVE the Bb he plays here. So effortlessly and cool..
It is very difficult to play simple riffs. Yeah he’s doing some serious stuff here playing octaves going from that A -Bb-B. Almost as if he’s slapping but isn’t.
he also played the guitar.........and probably ANYTHING else that would produce music........he could make a box and spoons sound good........RIP......
rcarlisi63 He was an accordion champ at 12 years old. It’s safe to say that he just “had it.”
awesome bass
Totally....amazing feel.
Kept the Groove!!!
my god did he ever!
Sounds like a pretty fresh set of flats on this session. Amazing tone.. yiu rotosound guys in bands and sessions are totally missing out on real ounch and fundamentals which you keep trying to eq to try snd get but never will.
You said it man!
bad as a bass
