As a kid I didn't know much about music but I knew what I liked. As I got older I learned about producers and many songs which I really liked were produced by Timbaland. The man is a musical genius.

they're different types of vibes. I personally much prefer the chord progression in the original and just think musically in terms of melody it fits a lot better with the vocals especially in the chorus and sound more energetic in the chorus part imo
But this remix is Timbaland & Scott Storch tho so I can't say im mad they remixed it, this is pretty cool too and the Ms Jade verse is a nice touch. I do think this isn't one of Timbo's best beats and is kinda just a formulaic one just made with the style he was going with around the time, but I still like both versions.

2:34 is where (in my opinion) in the original version the song loses its energy for a tiny bit (acoustic guitar solo). Just to be clear, I love the original version and have nothing against the sound of acoustic guitar, but because of this detail especially, I love this version even more.
