Thanks so much for posting. This was an education for me. I was aware of that neighborhood but knew little about it. And certainly had never heard of Franz Park.
Hey Tom, thanks for the tour. I've lived on the other side of Dogtown [Oakland & Childress] since 1987. Believe it or not, I've never been to Columbo's. Thanks for the peek inside on St Pat's Day! Also it's amazing to me the number of small car lots and repair shops along Manchester. I enjoyed the historical tidbits you threw in. Thanks again!
That's awesome. I did a video on Clayton-Tamm neighborhood where the first 15 minutes is around the neighborhood and the last 15 minutes is the St. Patrick's Day parade. on Manchester Ave- I thought the same thing- there are a lot of car shops along there. I had just mentioned that to someone. Thanks so much for watching and the interesting comment- I really appreciate it.
A lot of new stuff, but a lot of stuff that's been around for years, still there. Used to cash my checks at Columbo's. There used to be a bar down at Manchester & Kraft called Swaps where I scored my only career knockout, circa '88. I swear, I was walking past Tech Elec. back around 1980ish when I looked up and saw a jet with the space shuttle on top of it. Wonder if it's still there.
I feel compelled to comment for the sake of the algorithm for you. I like when small channels pop up in my feed. I must admit though, I probably won’t watch your whole video. Not for any good reason other than I’m not that interested right now. Maybe I’ll watch again with more focused intent. Cheers

I see it's Sunny's Cantina now. Yup, KO'd a feller in there back in the day.
Oh my goodness!
@@organstl My cousins grew up on the 6600 block of Dale - the granite stone house adjacent to the storefront wraparound at Louisville.
@@joeschmo2693 That's awesome- right in the heart of Dogtown pretty much- not even too far from where the parade is on Tamm Ave.
