really glad the Mafex 6 inch line stepped up after those earlier years.
Mafex went from being compared to Chinese bootlegs to standing as their own, rivaling and more times than not surpassing other Toy Lines that offer the same characters. They are one of my favorite lines to collect and I look forward to every new announcement.
Yeah. Despite growing to dislike the new star wars movies and not wanting anything "new canon exclusive" on ny shelf, selling or badly customizing everything I had from it, I still have the mafex rogue one Darth Vader. Cuz it's just really nice. I'd love to see mafex try a Jango Fett or General Grievous.
That’s awesome that the other Mk 85 accessories work with it. Do you happen to know if any of the Mk 50 accessories work with it? I missed out on the original release and have been considering this one but wish it had more accessories and if compatible would totally use my Mk 50 stuff with it.
The color might be a few shades off but nothing too drastic. here might be some difference in joint tightness but thats a figure to figure thing. You can swap parts between the MK50 and the MK85 armors.
Does it use cheap plastic the original mk85 use?
Idk what you mean by cheap plastic cause i don't feel anything wrong with my MK85. But It's a solid figure.
I'm debating between shf and mafex battle damaged any thoughts?
To be honest I don't have any experience with the SHF version so I can't say. I can only base it off what I have and that is the MAFEX version. Honestly looking at other reviews and pics, The MAFEX one looks better in terms or proportions and will fit in a little better with true 1/12 scale figures. Plus I think teh faces look better here, but again I don't have the SHF to compare and I'm basing it off other pics and videos.
