If Ea did suddenly care, I might play Sims 4 again but I'd never spend another penny on their content. I've had enough, my money will go elsewhere. In my book the Sims era has passed. Been playing since 2000 so that says a lot for me.

If the rumor is true, the sim 4 was supposed to released as an online multiplayer game. so the whole game was wrong when it first launched in 2014🙄🙄🙄 We have been scammed for 10 years for EA's wrong decision.

The details remind me of Sims 2 though Sims 2 went above and beyond they fully animated 50 full games of chess you could watch.
Yeah, and guess what, the washing machines and dryers are included in the base game, and they are actually useful cause clothes get dirty if you don't wash them, and not just when you don't get to the toilet on time, which is one thing that doesn't actually make sense in the sims cause they take a shower but they put the same clothes on without washing them, the only way getting your clothes clean by taking a shower would work is if you took a shower with your clothes on, so I'm glad inzoi makes the clothes being clean independent from your zoi

I think inzoi will be like city skylines, I remember sims city was really popular then started to decline then city skylines came out and everyone started to play city skylines. I don’t feel bad for EA they did this to themselves every game they created was good then they proceeded to destroy it to the ground.

Cities Skylines succeeded because the reboot of Sim City was always-online and had issues with servers and couldn't initially be played as true singleplayer. In the Sim City reboot, you relied on other people to create cities that had resources or services you needed. Since people were used to Sim City being a singleplayer experience and being able to create self-sufficient cities, this didn't fly with players. By the time that patches had been implemented to make the game more what players actually wanted, Cities Skylines had already released and players went to the new game that offered familiar gameplay instead. So even though people who still played Sim City were happy with the changes, it was too little too late. The game died and took the Sim City franchise with it. With that said, the most recent Cities: Skylines has not had the same degree of success.
inZoi definitely has a chance to oust Sims 4, and if EA doesn't hustle to make Sims 5 a great game, between inZOI and Paralives, they'll lose the life sim genre to its competitors. We also may see other similar games released by other companies in the future because having two new competitors in the market kind of opens the gates for that, but this is somewhat doubtful due to the amount of detail and effort needed to create a successful life simulation of this general type. Since we don't know what Project Rene is yet, and we don't know if Sims 5 is close to release or whether it's even being worked on, we really can't say how it's going to compare either to inZOI or Paralives. But I guarantee you EA is seeing what inZOI has to offer and they're pulling ideas from it and coming up with new ideas to compete. They'll probably try to lean harder into what they know Sims has always done best. We may see enhanced mod support, we may see a re-emphasis on the humor and goofy elements, and we may even see a bit of a return to the "edgy" quality that Sims had more of back with Sims 1 and 2.
inZOI doesn't do certain things that Sims does. For instance, though it has cut scenes, you can't really set up a wedding for your characters on your own--just a cut scene of the two characters, no one else, no party, etc. As seen on MadMorph's videos, you can have children, but your characters do not do an equivalent to "woohoo" in the Sims, they just go to sleep, fade to black, and have a brief embrace cut scene. I don't know if parties are even a thing at all with inZOI, even though you can certainly interact with any other character you meet. While I don't tend to play parties often in Sims games, I'd miss the lack of them because I have sometimes set up fancy weddings, Halloween parties, etc. that were always fun to do.
And with all this, I still know very little about Paralives except that, per patrons on their Patreon, it doesn't necessarily play or feel much like Sims. But that was one person's take, and I have no idea how accurate it is.
The fact that we are all freaking out says a lot. And it’s not the case of The Sims setting the bar so low that we’re willing to take anything that’s just a little better, but that this is ACTUALLY a 1000% better. I am BLOWN away and to think this is not even a done game??? Wow!!!!
If I dare criticize something besides the obvious bugs, would be the interactions using the dumbbells and guitar. It would be nice for the zois to actuall pick them up and for the objects to disappear from the ground or their stand, not duplicate, like how they did with the beach ball. The zois actually picked the ball up and put it down and the animation was perfect which tells me it IS possible for them to do that and that maybe other things such as the guitar and dumbbells are in earlier stages of development. This is a HIGHLY detailed game in terms of presentation and I believe the gameplay needs to match for our initial excitement to last. I also agree that there should be variations in the way the zois eat their food, not just with a fork. Not a lot, just enough for it to make sense, burgers should be picked up, same with pizza slices and chicken. I think if they manage to be as detailed with the gameplay as with the look of the game, they’ll create the best simulation game ever, and the beach ball example tells me they can and most likely will. This game is made by people who LOVE their job and respect the consumer, it’s obvious.
It looks nice, but we haven't actually seen much gameplay. Some things it's missing:
1) Teens
2) Parties
3) Actual weddings outside of cutscenes
4) "Woohoo." Anything of this nature is omitted. I can live without it, but it's important to understand that the reason we have so many woohoo locations and options in Sims games is because some (maybe many) people love having this option; this is the same reason we have NSFW mods for the game. It's fairly understandable that a game from South Korea, China, or Japan would omit this option, outside of possibly an M- or AO-rated game, due to decency standards (often codified by law) and culture. But be aware you're probably not going to have your zois get fresh and frisky in the shower or, frankly, even in the bed.
5) Swimming. Not only was beach swimming not an option for Pixelade in this video, but I can't recall seeing any swimming pools either.
What it does have looks good, but it's not a finished game. Further features are planned to be implemented, and the team doesn't have a lot of time to both implement and bug-test those features. I would be concerned about major bugs on initial release, whether it's a full release or early access.
We also don't know how it's going to be monetized or if it'll be a buy-once or free-to-play game. What we see influencers do for free might be chopped up into microtransactions we have to purchase if the game is free-to-play. But I guarantee you that it will have either extensive DLCs or many microtransaction options available, if not immediately upon release, then soon thereafter. Depending how much content is locked behind a paywall, this could be a dealbreaker for many players.

That glitch with them sitting outside to watch TV was happening to everyone who chose that apartment. It's a glitch with the location. When Neuworld moved his Zoi, the tv function worked fine.

I might just buy this game when it comes out. InZoi definitely has my attention now.
Still a few issues I'm watching to see if they improve but I'm like you this game did not interest me until this point. If those issues like face presets, group-family game play are improved on I see myself getting Inzoi uninstalling Sims 4 and never looking back.

I'm so happy for you. :D And I'm so happy too! ^_^ The gameplay and animations are as high a quality as the LOOK. The Sims 4 failing was always putting everything into appearances, very little into substance without putting multiple paywalls behind them.

So many features for example like weather and laundry we have to pay separately for and should have been in base game I cannot believe the way they broke up all the features into DLC 87 total to date including base game stuff free stuff and more than half of it should have been base game 😫

I really don't mind if there are some DLCs and expansions. Inzoi has already provided features in the base game that are either paid or just not included in The Sims 4. Also, the game isn't finished yet, so there's a lot more that could be added to the base game. My only wish is that they keep the prices reasonable.
Sims has been ripping us off for years selling us overpriced bare minimum with the recolor/retexture option it's like having endless Sims 4 kits you can even spawn objects in the game from pictures. I really can't see a reason to stick with Sims 4 if Inzoi improves on group and family game play before full release Sims is a goner. Seriously
i hope dlcs are just new cities and perhaps added activities that expand existing worlds. But I really do hope swimming is implemented with the base game.
The game looks bloody fantastic and I've always dreamed of a super realistic life simulation game, InZOI has everything for me, all we need now are children, teenagers, swimable beaches, being able to create groups, swimming pools, social events system, burglars as NPCs and a Wants System for the game to be complete.
Pretty much this but I also want more diverse set of face presets all of them now look Korean need some options so people can easily make other ethnicities not everyone is great with sliders.
@@lance9249 not all of them look korean.... there are some white/black faces in there too... as well as some more hispanic looking faces i believe... they aren't all korean... just most of them as this is a korean game.
@@lance9249Lol I am not sure what y'all seeing. Most characters they show don't even look Korean, unless it is an Asian character. Sims in Sims 4 look the same. Same with Sims 2 and 3. But in Inzoi, you can create diverse looking characters.

One in-game minute being two real life secods instead of one is something I had on my Sims wishlist for a long time! It’s such a subtle change but it gives you twice the play time in a day, so that your characters don’t take an hour to eat breakfast.
I think it took 20 minutes to eat breakfast in this video which is decent.

Even though I can't play Inzoi, after seeing all these Inzoi videos, i don't feel like enjoying playing sims 4 anymore.
But well, i'm grateful that at least i have something to play. Different vibe. Cheers for the genre, whichever way the companies take it, with more companies diving into this genre, we as the consumers might be happy.
I'm glad that we can see what actually can be accomplished, after being told it's impossible all these times. Yeah, computational power is important too. we now can see what can be accomplished with more computational power (inzoi, life by you (RIP)), and how it can be optimized with lower computational power (sims 4, paralives)
Really love all the features that you showed, I was already excited about inZOI from the character creation screen, but the gameplay looks so incredible! I also found it hilarious that you took someone else's job and got so distracted by the scenery that you forgot to go to work 😂😂

I'm almost crying of joy over here. This game is amazing. And OMG i didnt know we could actualy drive the cars. 😲 There are a lot they could improve like swim in ocean (beach activities could be a DLC), i'm pretty sure this will be implemented, but a swim wear category would be neat. When zois start to play an instrument they shouldn't be playing Bethoven 😅...! But i have faith in Krafton, and they already showed us they listen, and that they know what they are doing.

I think because of routing issues or something like that, that it made it difficult to develop cars as well as horses (but notice we got the latter anyway so I don't know how much of it is true...).

I am super excited. Leaving Sims 4 for Inzoi is like waiting to go on a permanent vacation. Everything looks so good. It is giving GTA which is another favorite game of mine.
I hope the zois gain energy when they rest on a couch, or eat some food. I don’t know about you, but when I exercise, I like to rest after, and I regain some energy to get through the day. Still tired, but I can keep going.

I think it was Oshin Sims video, there was a surfboard somewhere that you could actually use and she said going in the ocean/pools was in development. Also, you can get on the rides at the carnival and you can work there. I'm so excited about the environment and details, I hope the relationship gameplay is also on point!
I’ll never stop playing sims but I can say as someone who has played sims since the beginning, I can say they were going in the right direction and got too comfortable in their position and ignored our needs. Now that there is a company that is actually trying to give us everything we need they want to step it up. But I’m sure they’ll half ass this the way they do with everything else.

It's so beautiful. The realistic mode is not scary so I could play with it, but my preference is definitively cartoon 😊

This game is absolutely amazing ❤. Only thing I don’t like is that the objects are duplicated rather than actually being moved such as the vacuum and the dumbbells. I wish you would see the usable objects actually being picked up and moved and then put back. Hopefully they work on that.
First...crossing fingers this will be on the console. I played Sims 4 this weekend..I felt bad...not bad enough to buy any packs or kits 😂

@@lottiewhateverNot in early access for sure, most games don’t multiplatform in early access because they have to balance and optimize the PC experience first.

Now this a game I am willing pay money for omg looks so good the characters are amazing you can make look so good with all the tools they give you , and you can change filters in game make the game look different awesome! And don’t get started on the building I am super excited to build and live in my world and gameplay is in depth and amazing , good thing it’s coming out late 2024 I think
Can you actually build the whole city too? I was gutted that Paradox cancelled Life By You because I figured eventually they'd make it so it integrated with Cities Skylines, which would be so cool... build your own city then make sims to live in it, and maybe integrate other gameplay stuff in there too where you could integrate other games into your city (GTA6?). And in VR? Please!
So excited to play this! One thing I'd like as far as the UI goes is to be able to make the needs bar 8x1 instead of 4x2 so I can keep my needs open without the bar cutting into the screen too much. I think that'd be handy! :D
