I don't think Bart writes or says anything that is not the consensus of Biblical scholarship. The majority of Biblical scholars (including Christian ones) agree that many of the Pauline letters were not actually written by Paul. Some are debatable, and some are considered genuine for sure. This is not fringe scholarship at all. It's the consensus of most Biblical scholars. As to the authorship of the Gospels for example? We don't really know for sure who wrote them. Which is what most Biblical scholars would say. The names are based on Church tradition, and not on history for the most part. But a very complicated subject for sure. We don't know who they were, because they don't tell us.
