You're definitely right about BBW candles not being up to speed on scent strength and in my eyes, scent variety. I've got 3 orders coming in from Goose Creek - a lot of foodie and woodsy candles !
I’ve been buying about 3X as many Goose Creek candles as I have BBW lately. They aren’t perfect but are offering a much more interesting selection this summer. Right now I’m obsessed with GC’s Sea Salt Neroli and Vanilla.

Soooo darn funny😅 I know usually within 25-30 mins if a candle has throw. I will give it 1 hr before putting out. Im not wasting my time on it. NOPE. I have done well w BBW but lately I'm not sure what's going on there. Oh well! Have a great week friend 💞💕💖😊
I loved mine on cold - fresh lavender! but then once I burned it the scent changed - gave it to my daughter. What a bummer. Totally agree about many of them having no throw. My Citrus Grove is almost unscented burning.
Some of these summer candles just did not work for me. Starfruit Sangria, Citrus Grove, and Raspberry Rose were all duds to my nose. On the other hand, Summer Boardwalk, Sweet Tea & Lemonade, and Surf Shop were great. I've heard good things about Palo Santo Vanilla as well.
Yeah kind of a bummer but you never know. Experiences may vary. Honestly, my advice would be to exchange it if there are any other BBW candles you want right now lol. 🤷
I thought something was wrong with mine I exchanged it for another one (*same scent) I really like the scent though . The reviews online all said it was a strong one . I picked up another batch code hoping it is stronger . My first one maybe was a 2 or 3 ?? geez OK well maybe I shouldn't burn the second one. I am a Lavender lover I may give it another shot and it will go back if it sucks like the first one. Thanks for the review and heads up

There must be discrepancies in the batches. Mine is very strong. I would say a 7. I am surprised and not surprised. Have a great week ❌️ ⭕️

Totally agree! Citrus Grove smelled weak to me on cold so I passed on it. This one tricked me though!! lol.

Yes it is starting to sound like there was a lot of batch inconsistency with this one!
