I'm a sudden widow raising and educating a house full of children so to invest that much on smelling myself, I have to be sure I will like what I smell like. Doing a dupe test run first.
I love a tabacco scent as well for fall and winter! I wear Jazz Club from Replica with a spritz of Tom Ford's Tabacco Vanille on top. I always get compliments and it drives my man crazy!

Same Asian eyelashes here, I recommend the etude house curl fix mascara, they have a brown shade. And it really fix the curls, I have slept with it on and my lashes are still curled the next day!!!

You might like Byredo Black Saffron or Bal D’Afrique. Blanche is nice as well. I don’t care for Gypsy Water or Mojave Ghost either but love the other three. They are spicy florals. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them and they are soft enough for daytime (Blanche in particular when it’s hot out.)

Allison Chase had a great video on layering the Chanel graphite crayon as a base with the matching liquid eye shadow over top. The finished look was beautiful but she did say you have to work quickly with the liquid as it dries down fast!

I have been loving my Sonia G Lotus set as well. I used the base brush to apply cream bronzer and it was perfection. I picked up the Chanel Les Beiges cream bronzer in the new dark color and I’m loving that for my bronzer this summer…I find that it blends out really beautifully with the Sonia brush. I have also been obsessed with cream blush and have been using a couple from Honest Beauty and they are really, really good. And lastly, I picked up two of these gorgeous shimmery lip oils from Clarins. The only thing I typically buy from them is their after sun skin care but these lip oils were to pretty to pass on and they are quite lovely and keep my lips super hydrated.
I’m wearing Portrait of a Lady today (got it when you reviewed it) and my husband and friends were all telling me how good I smelled. 😁!! I’ve been enjoying the new waterproof stylo shades from Chanel. They wear so well and the color payoff is outstanding!

I also love tobacco in fragrances, and one of my all time favorites is Serge Lutens Chergui. Tobacco leaf, sandalwood, amber, rose, iris with a touch of honey and incense you really pick up on the drydown are such a lovely unisex (but leaning more feminine) combination. And like most frags from the Lutens house longevity and sillage are no joke lol. While I LOVE Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady my absolute fav Malle is Noir Epices..spicy, citrus goodness. My all time fav Bond No 9 has to be Chinatown it's just so damn beautiful, and the bottle is a stunner too! Right now while it's soooo hot my go to's have been Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino, Xerjoff Lua it's clean, airy and lovely. And good ol' Chanel No 19 EDT in hot weather this one is such a refreshing pick me up. Love your monthly favorites! xo

Totally can relate to your trouble with eyelashes. If you don’t mind trying cheaper cosmetics brands, I would recommend you to try mascara from Asia cosmetic brands. Here in Asia mascara is all abt fix; either fix+extension or fix+thicken and mascara from drugstore brands often outperform luxury brands. Here are some that I would recommend: KissMe, EtudeHouse, Solone, and Kaibeauty. And if a single mascara doesn’t do enough job, some ppl(like me) would put on eyelashes base(or I should say primer?) to further fix and thicken before putting on mascara. I would recommend eyelashes base from KATE, Ettusais, canmake. Ps. never ever buy mascara with formula that can be removed by hot water no matter what brand it is. Your eyelashes would hang straight down to the ground.
I haven't found a perfume I like since Organza Indecence Givenchy was discontinued. Before that I loved Casmir by Chopard. Before that I wore Ma Griffe by Carven and Miss Balmain by Balmain. I started with my mom's Chanel no 5 and Jean Nate. Now I use natural perfumes. I'll have to go give the TF a sniff.

Oh Byredo. How I love and hate them 😂 I was in love with the scent Le Gant and they discontinued it. It was a leather based fragrance with amber, bergamot and saffron. I’ll need to give this fragrance a whiff. I miss walking into Barney’s to smell their fragrances. it’s the not the same in Nordstrom 😩

I recommend Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36. It has a beautiful tint and the finish softens all surfaces on my skin plus it also blocks IR rays and blue light. I sit in front of a computer all day so I really like this added protection but I use it primarily because my skin looks like perfection when I use it so much so that I don't need foundation. :)

If you like fresh clean scents you have to try Accord Oud by Byredo. It’s a summery oud fragrance, very unique!

I recommend Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36. It has a beautiful tint and the finish softens all surfaces on my skin plus it also blocks IR rays and blue light. I sit in front of a computer all day so I really like this added protection but I use it primarily because my skin looks like perfection when I use it so much so that I don't need foundation. :)
